I am 74 yrs. old and somewhat embarrassed to admit I have never made a pie. Primarily because I have little confidence in my kitchen skills, and the fear of attempting a pastry dough is high on my list of reasons why. However, I love sweet potatoes, and your recipe looks awesomely delicious. Holding my breath as I decide if I’m up to this for the holidays this year! You make it look so basic and easy, I can’t help but think “Hey! I could do this!” Also, the whipped cream recipe is brilliant! Thank you for this excellent t video.

Glad to hear that you have a desire to try at any age. Just keep in mind when baking measuring things accurately is the key to positive outcomes. When you cook that's when you can experiment and not have to measure things exactly but to taste. Also, don't feel bad if you don't get perfect results the first few try's even baker's that always make things have issues at times. Just enjoy the process and rewards when the results are good. 💕👍
