Mine was working then i changed some visual settings now its not capping my frames and its not working

it works very well. After 30 mins or so I can do it on my own without the config files.
For anyone who don't wanna use capslock or whatever keys you have anymore, just go to your game settings and bind your key to a random movement and unbind it.

For those with issues with mouse scroll down being binded to crouch. If you are starting your loop from an auto exec. Copy the superglide1 lines into the auto exec, which will then lead to super glide 2 then 3. However make sure you still have the file superglide 1 in your cfg folder so that when it loops it loops to the superglide1, otherwise it has nothing to loop to. That was the solution i found for when i ran into binding key binding issues. So basically auto exec -> "superglide2 ->superglide 3 -> superglide 1" (then loops within itself)

idk if this is a solution to you guys or not but looking at the video the command in the first superglide1 file doesnt have a 0 at the end of it, so i tried removing mine from the file and it worked.. like i said this may not be the solution to most of you but it ended up working for me. GREAT VIDEO LEFTY, keep it up!
i still cant figure out why my capslock isnt working for jump :(
easier way of getting to the files is rightclicking the apex icon and going to file location its the 2nd or 3rd option to click
i notice when u supergilde ur like crouched at the same time is this a bind i missed or is that just u holding ur crouch button?
Thank you everything works perfectly and I can superglide very consistently now. However I have noticed that this only works when I am in borderless full screen mode and it doesn't work at all when i'm in fullscreen. Yet I have 144 fps capped in both and it never goes below that. It's weird.

This might be a stupid question but, I followed everything in the video and it worked. I use MWHEELUP for Jump and MWHEELDOWN for tap strafe. I was able to superglide consistently but what I noticed was I couldn't use MWHEELUP for spam jumping. For example, usually bhop when I'm bored by using scroll wheel up but now I can't do that. Even when just standing still, I can't jump constantly when I spam MWHEELUP, I can only jump once and then when I scroll up again, I'm unable to jump. Is that normal? Is that how it's supposed to work or am I doing something wrong?

have any pathfinder mains had issues with there grapple since using this config it just disconnects when i scroll wheel grapple at the same time
Iv sat here for hours trying to get this to work and copy pasted everything stated to do.
But for some reason when i launch apex and click caps lock i do not jump. Seems to be its not even activating the configs what so ever and i have no idea why.

So when I go to open the file my computer says "how do you want to open this file?" No matter what I click on it wont let me open it and past the info in. Any suggestions?

i did this but i think i did something wrong so i just decided to trash the files and decided that i would just learn to superglide without them and now i cant tapstrafe if there a way that i can fix this?
Now show us how to restore the game files to their original state. After reinstalling the apex and deleting the "superglide" files, I still have fps drops to 30 and I still have jumping under CAPS
C:\Users\yourname\Saved Games\Respawn\Apex\local\settings.cfg is where your keybinds would be stored. right click properties and check if 'read only' is ticked or not. untick if you want to make changes either within the file, or assign the keybinds you want within the game.
You need to go into ingame keybinds and make your controls normal again (it will show them normal but you have to remove those ones then add again)

Strange. Do you have custom binds in a separate config? Perhaps you made it read-only and it's creating this conflict?
im not an expert on computers but what if i wanted to have \ as my climb initiation and spacebar as my jump and crouch i use mwheeldown for all my jumps and never spacebar so i thnik it'd be better to bind the superglide cmd to my spacebarso that i dont have to relearn anything my issue is though i dont know the names for \ and spacebar when writing the text

Hey so for some reason it doesnt work for me, i copied every step letter for letter and it still doesnt work. it seems that the slide input doesnt come through when doing the superglide. anyone else have this problem? i need a solution badly.

Hey so ive done this but for some reason when i play now i can still jump with c (which is what i rebound jump and fps drop thing to) but after that my fps stays locked at 30 the only thing that fixes is is closing the game then reopening it

I bound it to SPACE but sometimes when i use scrollwheeldown to jump my game goes to 30 fps, it usually fixes when i scrollwheeldown again but is there any fix so it wont do it?
yeah see i did this too but mine i got 30 fps when i first pressed space and messed up the attempt completely, but i tried again with the jump and the moment pulled down the mousewheel after space to engage the super jump it fixed itself. Maybe its the superglide1-3 files that arent complete? like maybe a missing " or something?

There is a bind in the game key settings that is just cycle weapon. I use 1 to switch between my two weapon slots

your loop is not complete, are you running your initial capslock binding from auto exec? if so make sure you still have superglide1 in your cfg folder so it can loop properly

you can just make it SPACE instead of CAPS LOCK and do space for both superglides and wall bouncing

Hello, I use C for crouch toggle and shift for crouch hold and I use press on scroll wheel for jump. Can you copy and paste exactly what I put in the file?
how do i know what my game fps is capped at? how do i search this to input into superglide3 file?
if you go into ingame setting and open performace display it should have a consistent fps and usually that is say 144 or 190 so that is your fps cap
Go to firing range and look at your fps, what's the highest number it goes to? You need to enable 'performance display' in the in-game options

doing this has not helped me at being able to do consistent superglides let alone being able to superglide at all using this method, and after practice of normal supergliding it seems to be easier for me even if I'm not consistent at them still

No, it means you missed something. I've helped 4 people now who said they did EVERYTHING correct, but I would always find a mistake. Check again. File names, spaces, launch options, etc.

this is literally the 6th video i've watched i have even copied everyone else's binds and yet i still cannot superglide doesn't matter what i do, who i watch it just doesn't happen. My capzlock doesnt jump at this point i give up lol...

For everyone just putting that in there. Just be aware that respawn has in fact banned players in the past for using macros. No this one in particular, but in most shooter games macros are not seen as something positive.
