Apex Legends Season 13 like any game is full of cheats, cheaters and hackers, although, unlike other games, its anti-cheat is not the best, meaning a lot of insane and crazy cheats pass through even into ranked, cheats like aimbot, wallhacks and even speed hacks. Lots of pros have been facing apex legends cheaters for a long time and some even still kill cheaters despite the odds against them with aimbots and speed hacks.

"Silent Aimbot" is called soft aim and was at one point a very popular hack in Fortnite competitive.

In absolute fairness, I've played Apex on PC for around 150~ hours, haven't noticed a blatant aimbotter in that time fortunately.

The speeding up and slowing down may be it fake “disconnecting” and then reconnecting, which allows it to replay more packets like as if it had a bad connection

The Lag after the speed hack is caused by the cheat chokeing packets so the cheat blocks the outgoing packets then modifys the timescale and then lets the packets go again and thats causing apex to lag like that. Its pretty easy in apex you just need bsendpacket and for that you only need the netchan of apex

There are still rampant cheaters in Season 13. ESP/walls along with soft aim. Worst part is they are all Masters+ players so no one reports them.

I've seen some guy cheating and streaming it on discord once, he was not the most obvious cheater out there (only aimbot, no speeehack or such thing) and he still got banned in 20 minutes, proof that anticheat is still doing its work pretty fast. The issue tho is that apex is a free game and when cheaters get banned they can just make a new account, I think that they should implement something similar to CS:GO back then when you had to go past a certain level to get access to lobbies with more "trustable" players, it didnt solve all the problems of cheating entirely but there is way less cheaters in prime lobbies than free lobbies so I guess it still did its job

What is likely happening with the “speed hack” is something similar to a hack for Minecraft called Blink. It causes a lag spike so you can move wherever you like while controlling a lag spike, then when you stop the lag spike, the server instantly catches up to where you now are after the lag. That’s my only explanation to what is happening in those clips

I'm pretty sure the effect of everything looking sped up and lagging is because it's probably a form of lag switching. Idk how that would work if you're not the one hosting the server, but regardless.
