From then, for 8 years she was held captive by the same man. As he separated her from her family, she endured unimaginable suffering.
Now, she shares her story to remind people no matter what they've gone through, it does not have to define their ending.

When she said she reached for the cellphone and saw a vision of a head floating in a ditch...wow. That sent chills down my spine. And to know she tried multiple times to end her life the way she did. I did the same thing in middle school and I'm still here. This is encouraging. Perhaps I should share my story but I wouldn't know where to start.

She was 14-15 years old and a grown ass man seen a pretty little girl and took advantage of her due to the fact of her parents doing business with him and being on drugs !

Some people should not be parents. Felicia should not have stayed with this man.

One the most important things to teach our children, is how people use materialism to breakdown their safety guards, and lure them in to be abused. They start with sweets, candy, electronics, name brand stuff. Teach your children the value of things, and that it should not be used to buy affection, trust, or love. I'm sorry your situation was one that like this. It's never the fault of the child for wanting nice things.

Her parents weren’t ish!!! They didn’t even fight to get her back and that predator knew that they wouldn’t. Sick! Wonder why he never went after her when she ran off from him. Seems like he knew that she would eventually leave on her own. Especially after he started taking her to see her family. He was sick and disgusting and every adult around who allowed it should’ve been behind bars.

My mama and daddy sat down with me and told me not to take anything from anyone without their permission. They also taught me that everything comes with a price nothing is free. I did the same thing with my children… my parents had real conversations with me and I have had real conversations with my children. You have to talk to your children.
This is such a sad traumatic story. Who just lets there kid leave with an adult man. I don't CARE how much you trusted that guy. Makes no sense. There are humans who should NOT be allowed to have kids. Im so sorry no one kept you safe. Especially your own family.

Drugs and apathy. Ppl around her did the same garbage to her so unfortunately she really didn’t care if it happened to her daughter. Many ppl do the opposite but damn… not even a little resistance to this grown hairy backed fool kidnapping their daughter 😐.

My ex kept trying to move me to Florida on his land, always talking about build on his "Land". God told he "No" because some of these southern black men are seriously INSANE
Oh this is a different perspective. It's amazing how much power money has. It's wild. And just a person giving you things that you've never had before and a family letting it happen and picking and choosing what was right. And the first time not wanting the stuff immediately after the man starts becoming violent and out of character..."all these beatings" "locked in the bedroom" "14,15,16..and then 19 years old" years old. ... I'm on the edge of the seat how did you get out...your mom not even hugging you 🥺.. she walked out the front door ❤ and thankgoodness she didn't get into anyone's car or truck. Stranger danger vibes 100%
