George was so brave. No protection from refs, no pads, and most of all for the benefit of the modern player no diving and rolling over and over , no cheating. He was without doubt the best. R.I.P. Legend.

best349 . Didn't know that, if it's true. George had a amazing talent, he didn't have any made up trick moves to beat players, it was sheer natural body movements, his ball control was as if it were tied to his feet, on such terrible surfaces.

I used to have 2 sizes in your endorsed footer boots handed down by my uncle's I cleared the whole field took the out of the middle of two forwards kicking the ball back and forth to each other thinking they were coming right in to the box by me center defender wallop' it cleared the entire field all the way up to the other end the other two were asking have you got a Canon on the end of your foot no it was Bobby Charlton football boots!
