James, I haven't seen you in awhile. I hope all is okay. I have the Dream Vision Tarot too and love it, but found with the soft warm energy of the colors, that the metallic edging was cold and sharp and off-putting. I ended up sanding off the edging with an emory block and was surprised at how easy it was and how much more approachable it made the deck (for me). I agree with you about the figures -- they're like light energy beings or interdimensional ones. I'm so glad to have this deck and to find it now quite usable. I noted, also, in my walkthrough that there is no actual linework in this deck. It is all airbrushed soft-edged planes of color.
that first deck would be great to read intuitively or in the "open" style

I've ordered the Dream Vision Tarot but it hasn't arrived yet, so I enjoyed your thoughts on the deck to add to my anticipation. The art in the Orphic Tarot is intriguing, but decks where I struggle to identify the cards drive me a bit crazy. Thanks for sharing these, James!
the second deck is well i gotta have it. it's probably rare and expensive now.
It baffles me that the creator didn't see they needed clear titles in the orphic tarot @_@ I would be lost

Oooh interesting. Not sure about the black and white plus red deck, it somehow reminds me of the Tattoo Tarot, which I find a bit too boldly drawn. That channeled dream deck looks very interesting
