I agree. I have been praying for her recovery daily. I so pray she will be given peace and privacy to recover in peace. She is undergoing cancel treatment so she will probably open up about what is going on once her cancer treatment is completed and she has been given the go-ahead by her medical team to resume her royal duties. The palace controls everything. She’s got maids and other people doing things for her. Other women having the same surgery have to not only do absolutely everything when raising their children, but also have to do all the housework and can’t take as much time off work. I hope Kate is recovering well but the firm should have been transparent and far more relatable to people under 55.

I also think that going public demonstrate courage and a modern world view rather than a right wing conservative backward one. Look at the King. He was up front about what was happening, and was also seen from time to time undertaking light duties. I do with Kate a full recovery, and understand the need to explain things to her kids and protect them. However I still think she could have been a bit more transparent as well. The monarchy needs to radically modernise.

This is why Queen Elizabeth never disclosed her personal life. She should have never opened up and told everyone she's having abdominal surgery - she stated it is not cancer and that it'll be after Easter. Why can't people WAIT and give her time to recover. The last thing she needs is stress.
I agree, however the princess had some engagements scheduled for the same time as her convalescing period so that notice was needed. I just don't understand why people have gone wild now when they were informed in advance.
