Double K, Ramon and Chollie take us into Cindy Mizelle's 'This could be the night' The scene shows all the main characters preparing for a night out at the Roxy.
I use to breakdance myself back in the day and i was good people were feeling me and believe me i put the work in cause breakdancing is hard to master the moves but anyway enough about me cause this is about the baddest breakdancer in my opinion and millions of others too the boy Lee in this movie BEAT STREET cause this bit on the train is only for a few seconds but to me one of the baddest parts of the movie the way he does his uprocking moves with his legs is so hard to do i've only done it once he doubles up on his uprock and that to me can't be BEAT and Lee is the KING OF BEAT STREET.
said it before and will say it again. absolutely top top rockiing by lee on the train. his footwork is executed to perfection. pity about the rest of his dancing though....
topgeezer I loved the scene as well. I remember watching the trailer commercial on tv and this scene was in it with him top rocking. I instantly fell in love with the movie.
YO, I HAVE GOT TO SAY MY BOY LEE DOES THE BADDEST BIT OF LEG MOVEMENT FUSION ON THE TRAIN, IT'S THE HARDEST MOVEMENTS THAT YOU CAN POSSIBLY DO WITH UR FEET AND LEGS, I'VE ONLY PULLED OFF THAT MOVE ONE TIME AND I HAD TO PRACTICE A WHOLE LOT BEFORE I GOT IT RIGHT, TRUST ME, TO ALL THE EX BREAKDANCERS TRY IT AND U WILL SEE HOW HARD IT IS, ALRIGHT✌😎
Yeah I went and saw the new Fame and it was based only on a few students, mostly one girl but it was well done to me. I felt very uplifted after watching the movie...it was just a feel good movie. Anyone who critique's it to harshly doesn't like having fun, it was nice. You should check it out and tell me what you think? Take care...Peace!
its on dvd too no real good extra features except for the trailer with some extra footage that was never released... i wish they had an outtake section on the dvd tho... that would have been nice... but i guess they assumed no one would buy it anyway so why waste the cash... oh wells
I know what you mean...I wonder if we'll ever get back the innocence of that era...but all the hoping I do it seems far off. I saw the new Fame and I kinda felt like they were trying to capture some of the old school with a new school feel but I don't think most people will embrace it, unless it had violence, sex, profanity in it, sad but probably true......This cut was all that though, thanks for the comment.

Im sorry to say we will never get back to this innocence. It was a very special magical time for us during them day's.
No politicization, no one crying racism or victimization, just straight up 80's b-boy life of living the dream 💪
