Awesome setup Andrew. He did a good job of running thru the setup in stages and explaining the blower installation. Good job on the exhaust and engine build guys it sounds badass.
Awesome truck! I have a 383 LC9 sitting at about 12-1 making just shy of 600 N/A, planned on spraying it but what are your thoughts on that kind of compression and a Torque storm on top ? Is it doable ?
I have a 1975 caprice convertible with a LS swap Mild cam 3500 stall rear end done with a trail blazer ss intake what size torqstorm should I run and how much HP u think I would make with my setup
Just wanna ask, would it be possible to run this on a 4.8 with a small cam, a 340 drop in pump, and a set of upgraded injectors? And also what about non intercooled?? Just a daily driver
I have a 5.3 with a torqstorm supercharger and some prc 220 cnc ported heads. What would be the biggest cam I could run with that? I really like a lot of chop. Thanks
Lol you are not tripping. It’s funny. He loosened his bed bolts so he could move some stuff. Forgot. Then did that. Thankfully the filler neck and roll pan was still bolted on haha We were cracking up
@@NorthernPerformanceCars man I saw the back of that bed lift up I was think is that a tilt bed? No I have seen that truck before that shouldn't be doing that.. I bet it was hilarious
I been doing my homework on the torqstorm and I must say no bad reviews and for the price they have really change the game compared to the prices of the other superchargers that’s out there
That is a beautiful sounding exhaust! And this truck should probably perform pretty similarly to your new LS7 in the red truck, true Kenny? Assuming yes, this is a really nice (assuming quite a bit less expensive) way to get to a really great end product.
Yessir. This thing is a torque monster due to the whole combo. It’s a 383ci stroked ls1 basically that we installed mid last year. It’ll be a really close race between us I’m assuming. We will give it a go when summer comes! I think overall it’s similarly priced being it had a completely built engine etc. but certainly easier for the normal guy to achieve. My cylinder heads cost as much as his plus the blower lol Bottom end wise was similar cost. So definitely splitting hairs.
@@user-gq1er5rw8z oem computers do some neat stuff. I’m a simple guy though. I like the path of Least resistance. Not that it’s hard. Just a creature of habit I suppose.
I've got a 2000 2 door I'm thinking of swapping over on an Escalade frame to get rid of the rear leaf's. Plus it's got a way better braking system than 6 cylinder truck does
It’s actually the large speed engineering mufflers. It is tame but sounds great.virtually no drone. I made a custom pipe route so it’s not a y pipe any longer. X piped dual 3”

Old man here. Just stumbled onto this video. Latino, tired and grumpy. GREAT license plate! Made my day. Thank you.
I love it! Outstanding work guys
It’s a fun project for sure!
Badass maybe later on I love that exhaust Andrew sounds good
Nice work! That will be a fun truck on the street.
Yessir! A total blast!
Congrats Andrew she's Badass
friggin love it !!!
That truck sounds great! You guys should do a video on pros and cons of a torque storm versus a procharger.
That’s a good idea! We could do that.
@@NorthernPerformanceCars That would be great. My long term goal is a procharger for my truck but torque storm might be a viable option as well.
Didn't torquestorm introduce an 88mm supercharger? That should be on up there now....
@@ShawnGilbert1967 i think it was a 91mm and 94mm i saw it the other day

Was the blow off valve named? Like the way it sounds I’d like to look in to them for my build
Thing sounds sick
mike myke has an ebay turbo on a stock block 5.3 making close to 800hp
I wish i was closer to you guys.
plan on putting my V on that Dyno this summer

Nice vid And truck. 💪 What i need for 2003 silverado to reliable 600-700whp truck? Example If i have torqstorm
jamies caprices needs this....
What did you do for the intercooler piping
That sounds too good😅
Awesome!
Truck sounds good, i just put a Torqstorm on my 5.3 3rd gen camaro
Heck yea! That’ll be fun!
I was gonna say, did yall fold the frame but reading the comments the bolts were loose
I wonder what my 6.2l bore ly6 will make with the 3.1 pulley torqstorm.
Tbss, ported ls3 tb, 229/244 625/615 113 cam, 1 7/8 equal length exhaust
Its gonna make sex

Damn i thought for sure the frame snapped 😅
What camshaft? Thanks for the info on all the torqstorm builds!!! About to pull the trigger on one

Fuel upgrades? I'm putting a torqstorm kit together for my silverado as well.
Twin intank 450’s, all new lines, regulator etc.
is reverse rotation?
Bad ass truck, so is it on stock 1 bar map sensor and running maf sensor too?
Correct.
Nice brother
We get to have some fun at work sometimes!

@@NorthernPerformanceCars Thanks!
On tuning those p59 computers have u used the costome operating system with the dual ve table??
I have not.
Haven’t had a reason to. None of these combos are too overkill that we do.
@NorthernPerformanceCars oh I see..... a lot of tuners haven't even heard of that dual ve table COS

It’s actually the large speed engineering mufflers.

I made a custom pipe route so it’s not a y pipe any longer. X piped dual 3”
What size injector is it running? Stock 36-38lbs tbss?
No. It’s running 96lb fuel injector development
What’s the compression ratio on this beaut?
It’s about 10.7:1
What exhaust set up does it have?
We custom made it. X pipe. Dual 3”. Vibrant full bodied style mufflers.
You think this would stay cool enough to tow with it on a lq4?
Depends on how cool u can keep it
Did you do the egr delete on it?
Didn’t come with egr.
What drop does the truck have ?
What cam is in the truck
Tick stage 1 cathedral stroker
What transmission is he running?
Built 4l80e
Torq storm needs to make a bigger supercharger
They have one in the works.
