Saw your whip on the street in T-TOWN and had to check it out. Sounded mean as hell. Don’t see too many blown Silverados out there. Good job my man. My ‘04 just got a few mods. Gonna ride that till it dies or the rust gods take it home.
I’ve thought about it, my goals for the truck aren’t necessarily a drag truck but a reliable daily with some power. E85, intake and heads this truck could easily be capable of 600-650+
@@SlickSilverado yea I want to do a 4l65e awd swap. Better in the winter and awd launches. I hear the 4l60e and the 4l65e cases are identical. Just have different internals. 4.10s and awd with 650whp would be a trackhawk killer.
Correct, they are returnless. On my previous trucks with aftermarket fuel rails/intake I added a return and regulator. This truck is still running stock intake and fuel rails.
I’m kinda in the market for a torq storm and I’m not really looking to make a lot boost looking some where around 5-8 PSI you think the stock fuel system would be good for that ?
I’ve probably got close to 7 to 7500 in mine for my g8 and it’s still not done lol. That includes an inter cooler kit and aux fuel system and upgraded ati balancer and what not.
@@SlickSilverado I was originally going to go with a turbo but I’m gonna go supercharger now. Same as yours. But I was always told I’d HAVE to give a return style system. I’m glad to know you’re living proof that I don’t need one
@SlickSilverado mad dog transmission has a level 4 4l60e that's about $2300 shipped with 2800rpm stall. Add more if you want a higher stall. But they hold 800hp, apparently

Always good hearing from people around here! Appreciate it! Good luck with yours!
Good info, thank you! 🙏🏼
Glad it was helpful!
You can get a upgraded head unit from torqstorm to make this thing 750-950hp range. The oem blower with the kit is good for 650hp+-

@@Pitman556for sure! I ran a 4l65 in my last turbo truck and worked great
cool stuff man i plan to buy one for my 06 300 srt, havent seen to much videos of one of 300s
Well good luck! Should be about the same!
What size head unit
@@ChalrzzI’m not entirely sure! In my purchase order and description of what I purchased it does not tell me.
Did you do anything for fuel pressure regulation? I thought those trucks were returnless style. Most people convert to return style i believe.
Correct, they are returnless. On my previous trucks with aftermarket fuel rails/intake I added a return and regulator. This truck is still running stock intake and fuel rails.

I’m afraid not, stock fuel injectors sometimes can’t even handle a bigger cam!

It can rack up quick!!
What size rib pulling you ended putting ?
What pulley did I use? It’s the original pulley that came with the supercharger
Do you still have ac? If not is it possible to keep ac with the kit you have?
Still running ac! Everything is compatible with your factory ac system
Hey bro, if you said this I must’ve missed it but did you have to run a fuel return line for your setup?
I didn’t run an aftermarket intake or rails. It’s just the factory returnless setup
@@SlickSilverado and you haven’t had any issues running lean or wasting any fuel with the return less system?
Nope, I usually run these trucks this way until I go with a bigger intake and fuel rails

You should be good!
6k don’t sound bad but im probably gonna pay someone to install it all witch is gonna like 8k and up 😂
Man it literally took a weekend to do it! It’s pretty straight forward with the directions! I believe in you!!
Would u go back and get the other head unit
To be honest I’m not even sure what size I currently have, but to answer your question I’m currently pretty happy with the setup
You did work to the differential and transmission?
3.73 jegs posi unit with axles, and stock 4l60 with 3200 stall
@@SlickSilverado what does the longevity of the stock 4l60 look like when you're running these kinds of tq/hp numbers?
@@noahkiger9788all depends on how cool you keep them and well you have them tuned

Whatsup!! R&S up north!
@@SlickSilverado what happened to the yellow turbo truck
Haha I’m like 5 trucks passed that
