yeah he's one of those people that's indifferent about pretty much everything. at least that's what he tries to portray. i usually turn the video off if i see him but this is my most anticipated shoe this year so here i am

Umm...so...Robbe just seemed like he couldn't be bothered.
I’m a heavier runner, and for me, the SC Trainer v2 is an amazing long run / easy run shoe. I like softer shoes, but shoes like the ASICS Nimbus 26, are too soft and a little too heavy for me. I get hotspots with the Nimbus. The SC Trainer v2 is even softer, but somehow has better energy return for me. It also feels lighter on foot. The rocker geometry is perfect for my stride too. I really like the v2. I will buy the v3 and am hoping for more of the same.

If the V3 isn’t similar to the V1 or the V2, what other shoe would you say it’s most like? I loved the V1 but disliked the V2.
same here still going in my v1 and v2 is still sitting in the box brand new with one 10 mile hitch on it.
Can we get a comparison of this vs the balos?
Sounds like the SC Trainer line’s still wandering in the darkness a bit TBH. Neither the v2 or v3 seem to have kept the magic that made v1 special.
I loved the V1 minus the fact that I broke my ankle running in it (The shoe wasn’t at fault, but still that shoe is unstable af). The V2, while less fun, was just a mileage EATER.
Have brand new v1 ready to go bc I didn’t like v2
@@jesustsa1 Same (although I don't completely hate the v2)! I have 400 km on my current pair, still going strong, so I'm good for a while.
@@theghostofpcs2391 I have over 400km in mine and the foam is starting to lose its bounce, but I loved the v2. Need to watch some other reviews since this wasn't really informative at all.
How does this compare to the Neo Vista? Just got the Neo Vista, and it is a great easy run shoe with some nice pop.

So the NB SC Trainer V3 is lighter in weight than V1 but less soft in the midsoles than V2, right?
Robbes face when thomas said if you liked 1 and 2 you'll probably like this one 😂
He cannot tell a lie lol. Brooks excoriation notwithstanding, Thomas tends to be the most generous in his assessments. This feels like a shoe that they’ll give a green light to this year, and then next year say they didn’t like it when they review the v4.

The Puma deviate Nitro 3 and the SC trainer 3 are going to be my next two carbon plate shoe purchases!! I love my SC trainer 2's!! Gives you great propulsion forward!!
The "Brand" filter on the website under the Reviews section is really clunky... Not in alphabetical order and really hard to navigate

I love NB, especially the SC line, and look forward to hear what Megan has to say about this one. Glad they have reduced the weight. We'll see how it feels underfoot.

I haven’t paid the full price for my running shoes since the pandemic
Vandenberg Air Force Base is not far from SLO 9 (it’s also a Space X base) so that may be where some of those planes are coming from if they were really fast. Shoe question: Is the NB Balos the same fit lengthwise as the Rebel4? There’s no running store near where we live to try it on; but I sized up .5 on the Rebel 4 and need to know if I should do the same on the Balos.
SC Elite is the lighter version of this shoe.
@@ABucc yeah I don’t see the point of getting this trainer version when the elite one will do all things necessary.

How does the heal counter compare to the Rebel v4? Found the heal counter to have no structure but liked the shoes otherwise.
Take Robby out of this video and put Meg in. Dude has been off his game for a while now and he just killed any chance of good vibes on this shoe or video.

I race and do speedwork in the elites and do my long and easy runs in the trainers. Perfect!

I'm going to get the Superblast 2 and I would like a shoe for speed training, what would you recommend Trainer v3 or Rebel v4? I'm afraid the Rebel won't last and the Trainer v3 will be too similar to the Superblast 2. Can you guys help me?

I dunno, I feel like NB uppers are great. I like the 1080v13 upper, the Rebel v3 upper, and the SC Trainer v2 Upper. I'm 3 for 3 on NB uppers. I feel only Brooks has better uppers than New Balance.

Robbe may be a good writer but he is awful on camera. This channel would be so much better if Thomas and Meg were the only presenters.
I agree! Robbie always seems angry and lazy to do these videos. I love Believe in the Run, but it just seems they didn’t want to record. They didn’t say anything at all and it’s just better if Meg and Thomas make the reviews.
