Woodturning - The Dash Inlayed Vase

This woodturning video shows the creation of a Sapele wood vase with Inlayed dashes made from Ambrosia Maple. Nothing particular difficult about the process. After rounding out the blank, I made 1 1/2” deep cuts every half inch, rotating the blank 1/8th of the way each time. To be honest, I was surprised at how nice the final piece turned out!

Really creative project. Great look. Lots of potential to use your technique on some of my future projects. Nicely done.
On another note... Love the use of online skate wheels. I use these alot for different jigs. I only had to explain to my wife why her skates didn't have wheels anymore😶
