  • How to Replace Passenger CV Axle Shaft Chrysler Town and Country 2008-2016 If you're wondering how do I replace my CV-axle in the town and country it is not that hard. works for 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 If you follow along and already have the correct cv axle and you have no issues with Tie rods or boots it can be replaced in about an hour to an hour and a half and this is just following these basic instructions and following along on youtube, but that is only if you have nothing go wrong and nothing is majorly seized or you don't break anything. We never have guarantees nothing will go wrong, because at times they do, but over all a fairly straight forward repair. Please check owners manual and online for accurate specifications. I only do wok on on own vehicles and give this to you as a reference. Overall repair cost if CV-Axle is bought locally about $150. Hope this helps you change your CV-Axle and if I wasn't slightly worried about my daughters getting their fingers pinched I'd have them do it and they're not even old enough to drive. I just replaced my bad struts and had to cut off the sway bar links to remove it. My dad helped me on one side and he caught part of the boot with the grinder. But we didn't know. The next day I removed and replaced the passenger side all by myself. But doing a second check on the abs but I noticed the boot was leaking grease. Thank you for the very easy to follow video and not talking forever in the introduction.

yeah it sucks when people talk forever and it wastes a bunch of time trying to figure this stuff out. Wish this was around when I was younger and figuring some of this stuff out.

Amazing explanation the only one thing what you forgot is to decrease the rotors of the oily hands

Thanks for this video. I have done several cv axle replacements in the past on different cars I've had over the years. Knowing what socket sizes and the quick review helped a ton. Other than Rockauto sending me a from the manufacturer defective part (the inside knuckle was pulled out of the housing) I was able to do the right ( passenger side w/ intermediate shaft ) on my wife's 2016 Chrysler T&C Touring w/ 126k miles in 45 minutes. Now I gotta do the Oxygen sensors and transmission filter. It's always something lol.

Oh yeah... The second you get into one thing you realize you have 2 other thing to do

If only a part replacement was always so simple. Something that looks like it can be a 30 min job can turn to a few hours

Well if you put a camera to it the process definitely takes longer and yes about 1 in 3 repairs goes smoothly... That means less than half the time.

At 10:21 you can see something hanging by a wire on the front bumper. My van has this too. Do you know what it is?
Also, thank you for this video! I'm excited to give this a try!
