    This is an apples to oranges comparison between three different calibers in three different chamberings !! Just MY OPINION here, your opinion may be different !!

    I get that there are elk up there but do y’all really load that heavy in your part of the country? Bc we don’t load that heavy down south. 150 is common for the 06, and 130 in the 7oh8 around here.

      Its a utah culture thing. Everyone has a preference. It was as close of a comparison in bullet selection as we could find. We dont usually go that heavy unless it groups great. In the 7mm rem mag we use 120g bullets for elk so its a preference thing

      @@GGReloading I understand completely. My GP used 220gn in his 300wm. Some like them heavy, some don’t.

      @@Buckshot1217 truth be told, a lot of cartridge debate is a debate of very few wrong answers or solutions. There are so many combinations that work, it just comes down to what compromises you want to make.
