    A great reminder of how dragons in this series are not mindless beasts but intelligent creatures. You can tell that Vhagar doesn't want to do it and when she does, she makes sure it's quick.

      No one dies a quick death by being burned up. Better if the dragon just bit her head off.
      Dragons are still dumb.

      We saw how some dragons in this show will turn anything to dust instantly. They are definitely not dumb, they can control how much power they put in their fire

    for some reason this show was overly dramatic with childbirth

    • @CrowzEye
      @CrowzEye Před 9 měsíci +18

      To emphasise the importance of lineage/succession and others coming after you to carry on legacy. Particularly in the feudal system where status and power stems from your birth name. Lineage is a reason why there’s a problem in the first place and who should be heir, as Viserys was so determined to get a son as their never has been a female monarch. It’s almost an attack on this type of handling of power/human behaviour - as if to say “is all this pain really worth it?” Going through all that In childbirth just to be disappointed if its a girl that won’t be able to maintain that status. It distracts us from what really matters…. I.e. just being happy with what you have, having a loving family and realising that power isn’t everything.

      Lineage and heirs were life or death in this world and determined whether your dynasty lives on or dies , forgotten to history. That's the point of it being "overly" dramatic. Smooth brain
