  • Deterministic Thinking assumes there is only one defined outcome. It assumes that every cause leads to a specific, predictable effect, leaving little to no room for randomness or chance.
On the other hand, Probabilistic Thinking acknowledges uncertainty and the role of chance in determining outcomes.
It understands that even if we know the inputs, the outcomes can vary and that there's a range of possible outcomes, each with a certain probability.
Join us to explore the differences and bust the myths mysteries and misconceptions in forecasting the work and answer the question "When will it be done".

Wonderful insight Nagesh Sir. Having a probabilistic approach exudes humility and respect for uncertainties that could occur. Deterministic thinking instead reeks of overconfidence.

Ecstatic explanation!! Everyone should strive towards coming up with a "probabilistic" thinking approach in order to answer the question, "When Will It Be Done?" - as it involves the 2 aspects of:
    1) range of possibilities
    2) probability of completion
Thank you for beautifully explaining, Nagesh! 👌🏻😊
