- The Ultra Thin Swirl soap design was in the Soap Challenge last September. It's a design that requires multiples colorants and a slab mold.
The color palette I chose is one I call "fields of gold" with shades of blue, green and gold. While I was pleased with the final design, it wasn't one that I was going for - but sometimes those are those ones that surprise me the most. I thought I had over swirled it and that the batter may have been too fluid, but after planing the first bar I saw that it actually worked!
I definitely would do a few things differently the next time I make this type of swirl design. Watch until the end to hear the four things I would change to make it better. See if you can spot them along the way.

A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. jobs Jeff. In the beginning, I wasn't sure of what it would look like at the end... but the cut changed everything. Very interesting marble effect.
