Use teflon insulated silver plated wire, your audio will be much better, the 10 harmonic of 20kHz will be much more cleaner.

So with this upgrade does this render the factory 10 and amp useless?

If you get the kit to Replace the Factory Amp, then of course the OEM amp goes away. You can still amp the factory 10, if you want.
