What tool did you use to strip the inner plastic, does it cut first or does it just pull the plastic coating off?

Cutting Plier,It first cut the plastic coating &just peel out the plastic coating without cutting the wire.

Hi, I am looking for this RCA Male Connectors with the hole at the end, so the wire goes through it, like you show on the video.
I can't find then, only see the normal ones that you have to weld at the base the two wires. Please, what is the name of
such model of RCA connectors with the hole at the end? regards
    Dave

Switchcraft brand, sorry for the late response

For anyone else inquiring, specifically, this is either the Switchcraft 3502 or 3502L. Both have the hole in the tip. The L version has a larger hole on the shell for larger diameter cables.

Actually many male RCA plug connector have the little hole at the bottom where you usually solder the cold(ground wire lead)
I've recently purchased like 03 different kinds of male connectors on Amazon and they all have the little hole...😕

Oh wait I just finished watching the entire video, sorry did you mean the hole on the positive tip part...? The part that enters the female RCA plug...? Or the hole where the ground lead goes...?😐😕

For audio , coax cable is the worst option but......for guitar OK ..

The RCA connector used in this video is not good.

It is a Switchcraft brand, and just being used for demonstration. It has it's purpose in the home audio world, but not as much anymore in Pro Audio. Thanks!

@@AVCSSGuitarWorld True enough. The technique displayed here is instructive and proper. I just wanted to give a heads-up to those that don't know, this plug makes it harder to do a good job so they'll be facing a (slightly?) greater challenge.

😮 If you provide reasons why it's "not good", your comment will be much more helpful 😊

I hate videos that have text you have to read. Just make a damn video.
