If I recall in Legends Earth is in the Outer Rim bordering on not only Wild Space but the Unknown Regions. No one ever goes there because it’s so remote and there isn’t anything of value. The fact that it exists isn’t even common knowledge amongst the greater galaxy.
Eventually tho at least 2 humans do have to arrive there since the far future of Star Wars ends up being our real world history

As the verifiable home world of the most important species in the galaxy existed in Star Wars, then it would become a Mecca for archaeological, anthropological and ecological researchers. You would see earth ringed by large research stations to handle the hordes of what would be frankly tourists.
The ground would be mostly a nature reserve with a small permanent population of custodians, professors, priests (because of course you would get actual pilgrims) and a fair few neo-primatavist tribes.

What could make Vader want to assume the mantle of Daimyo on Tatooine is really up to speculation & controversial ideas.
This is my ideal take on it.
Darth Vader has recently been betrayed by his Emperor; Palpatine, who grew fearful of Vader due to the possibility that he could one day over throw & kill him either out of power or due to the fact that he was the Chosen One.
Palpatine had his loyal Sith Inquisitor accompany Vader on Tatooine to seek out more hidden Jedi. Once they had gotten to the Dune Sea the Inquisitor & his forces turned on Vader & left him for dead within the Sarlacc Pit which had taken him.
After a few days within the pit Vader was able to muster enough hatred & rage to choke the Sarlacc to death & vomit him out. He had escaped barely with his life.
His suit however took upon much considerable damage. Eventually Vader was found by a Tusken Raider tribe who knew him as the Dark God who attacked their tribe at least twice. Even tho they feared him, they also worshipped him as a deity.
While Vader hated the Tuskens with a passion (due to the fact they were responsible for his mother's death) he was in no position to argue & needed their help. The tribe took him to a 'witch doctor' who lived among their tribe for several years. It was no other than Obi-Wan Kenobi! Anakin's former master, best friend & the man who left him to burn to death on Mustafar. Obi-Wan considered killing him due to end his suffering but instead, due to the fact he still loved Anakin like a brother, he chose to heal him using a special force power that his former master Qui-Gon Jinn had taught him recently. They communicated using the Force, completing Kenobi's training.
Kenobi hoped that Vader would soon realize that he meant nothing to the Emperor. He was simply a tool to be used & discarded once he outlived his purpose as Palpatine's pawn.
Vader had much to consider. Suddenly he began having visions of his mother spirit visiting him. Reminding him of his dream to one day return to Tatooine & end slavery. Vader wasn't sure if this was a hallucination or perhaps his mother's spirit communicating with him. Before vanishing she said that this new path he would take would be his journey to redeeming what was left of his soul.
After long hours of thinking & wrestling with his thoughts, Vader decided that he would become the ruler that Tatooine needed, that Tatooine deserved. He knew that Jabba the Hutt still ruled the planet with an iron fist & was exceptionally cruel to the population as well as his slaves. Vader was powerful but he would need a grand army to overthrow him as well as the other criminal syndicates aligned with Jabba's empire. Vader however realized that he could unite all the Tusken tribes on the planet as one powerful unified army. It should be easy, they see him as a god after all. Vader united all the tribes & even tamed a powerful massive Krayt Dragon using the Force. Vader began making an aggressive campaign against Jabba. Destroying his spice shipments, sabotaging trade routes & freeing slaves that had been smuggled onto Tatooine, who would join his ever growing army. Soon the population was rooting for Darth Vader, seeing him as the new & more respected ruler of Tatooine. Jabba's counterattacks were ineffective in the grand scheme of Vader's plan.
Jabba decided to launch a fleet into the Dune Sea to stamp Vader & his Tusken army out. He traveled to see the conflict in his sail barge and even unleashed his beloved Rancor to be used on the front lines. After constant skirmishes Jabba's army was lost. Most either ran away, were killed or surrendered. Especially after seeing Vader's Krayt Dragon devour & kill Jabba's Rancor. Jabba in fear retreated back to his Palace. The sith lord would come for him, he knew it.
Soon Vader & his army infiltrated the palace, slaughtering Jabba's forces with ease. They made their way to the audience chamber where Jabba sat on his throne in fear of the sith lord.
Jabba asked his trusted mandalorian bounty hunter Boba Fett to protect him but Fett knew Jabba was a lost cause. "Sorry Jabba, looks like somebody else is hiring." Fett left Jabba's side & stood next to Vader.
It was over. Jabba had nothing left. He lost. He lost everything. Vader than began to slowly choke Jabba to death using the dark side of the Force. Once Jabba had died, Vader noticed the green twi'lek slave dancer Oola chained to Jabba's throne. She was in awe of him but also afraid. Vader immediately took his red lightsaber and cut her leash off, removing her collar using the Force. He told her she was free & that a new life was waiting for her. I think Oola would stay with Vader at the palace in hopes he could make her into a stronger version of herself. The relationship between them would be similar to the relationship between Thanos & Gamora. Like a father & daughter.
Soon Vader dumped Jabba's filthy bloated corpse into the pit below the throne room to rot. He then sat on the throne & it was decreed that he would assume position as Daimyo. Many changes would come to Tatooine. Many changes indeed.
Vader assumed control of all Jabba's holdings & operations but had the slave trade disbanded. Any syndicates who had a problem with this dared not argue against the sith lord. Most freed slaves joined Vader's growing empire. Willing to follow him anywhere into any battle. Willing to die for him gladly if needed.
Boba Fett was elected by Vader to serve as his Grand Marshall. Fett's newly paid position was to make sure Vader's laws were obeyed by the populace, enforcing them if need be and deal with any incoming threats to Vader as well as any threats to the people of Tatooine.
Oola remained at the palace where she would be regularly trained by Vader into becoming a strong warrior. She saw him as a father to her & would gladly serve him with pride.
Vader would spread his new empire across the Outer Rim to other worlds such as Nal Hutta, Kessel & many other worlds who indulged in slavery. Worlds that Vader would liberate.
There's a lot that can happen after this.
Vader may visit Owen & Beru Lars and discover that Luke Skywalker is his & Padme's son. Vader may need the services of Han Solo & Chewbacca now that Solo's debt to Jabba is cleared. The broken friendship of him & Obi-Wan could one day be repaired if given enough time. The Emperor may discover Vader's survival & growing empire and will send the Sith Inquisitor to finish him off. Leia & the Rebels may recruit him to join their rebellion for he would make a powerful ally considering his vast knowledge of the Empire & the Emperor. Many possibilities.
Again just my take. Feel free to use any of this for What If video ideas or to do your own refreshed version of it. What If stories are so fun to tell.

First of all, imagine the cultural schock for a LOT of people and cultures, suddenly they find themselves in the mid of a Galactic level civilization, spanning thousands years' history. If you think that not only in 3rd world 's countries, but also in the USA there are people that think that the universe (!) was created few thousands years' ago, and suddenly arrives a civilization that thrived at least for 25.000 years!
Probabilly we should struggle to maintain our indipendence, surely most nations would limit droids' presence on the planet, just to save jobs (& public safety). Perhaps, with all the lack of competent militaries in the galaxy, we could find ourselves a job as a sort of "Swiss Guard" for the Republic, plus our entertainment industry would be very important in the galaxy, imagine how Hollywood/Bollywood and anime would impact in a culturally static world such as Republc 's one .
P.s. being guided by Jedi generals, I doubt that the Republic army would destroy Earth in cold blood with an orbital bombardment, and the CD would be harmful to their cause .
