"Black Parade" among other songs really speak to Kylo, especially because his dad is dead. He breaks down and does three things:
1) He visits Kris Kren'gul at the south pole to learn how to find balance in the Force.
2) He is encouraged to make peace with his past, so he calls Leia and Luke to apologize for his mistakes.
3) He trains Force sensitive humans and the militaries of Earth to fight back.

Im guessing the first orders stratergy is to have the aliens kill people and then come in to "save earth" even though they sent the aliens to gain their trust and recruit humanity for their stormtrooper army

Just some general thoughts...
-If anything, the First Order is well funded. They might not have the bodies, but can hire them...
-Why escape pods instead of landers or smaller vessels/fighters? What launched all these pods?
-These all seem to be older model or salvaged escape pods, so perhaps they bought them in bulk ...
-Why THESE aliens? Are they friendly to the First Order? What's to stop them from communicating with the humans?

As for communication, it's fairly simple. The Star Wars galaxy has its own written linguistic style even possibly spoken language(I have always doubted that basic is Standard English or English at all.). While mathematics are the universal language, I doubt that any of the aliens landing on Sol 3 would consider this option, even if it was recognized as math instead of just writing(would you if you were drugged and dumped on an alien planet). From there first contact would rely on at least one of the earth governments capturing one of the aliens or possibly having previous knowledge about the existence of aliens and a grasp on their language and mathematics(Roswell?).
But Roswell was just ONE potential "landing", whereas this was thousands spread Across the globe. Sorta hard to cover that up...
An additional thought- Maybe the diverse races in the pods were chosen for that very reason- Each country would be told it's alien is the one "true" race, and the others are horrible killers and invaders... just setting up the Martial Law the First Order would bring even more smoothly. Perhaps the aliens were brainwashed to turn each country that found one against it's neighbors?

The Roswell event was in the 60s(I think) and if both it and Area 51 are ligit in this scenario, then the United States government would probably have some sort of preparations, which was what I was getting at with that point.
The problem with the idea of telling each nation that it's race, if one and only one landed in each nation. A pretty big improbability in and of itself because your average escape pod has limited maneuvering ability and no matter how precise the First Order was with their initial deployment, it's just making things more complicated. Why tell Sol 3's nations that the aliens(if only one landed in each nation) were the only benign ones while the others were all vicious and hostile when that's not what the First Order is about? They are essentially a human supremacy movement that can be viewed as like the Nazi's with all nonhuman races being their version of untermench. It would just be easier to drop a lot of different species in every nation and let the inhabitants of Sol 3 come to the realization that any nonhuman race is hostile. It's easier to use diplomacy to gain an ally who already shares your views than it is to conquer someone at war.
TL;DR It is simpler and less costly for the First Order to release then exterminate the alien 'invaders' than go through the effort of starting a war between Earth's nations and then try to fight both the governments and the aliens running around as well. They might have money, but they do not have the supplies of the CIS or Galactic Empire, so a hostile invasion would not make sense if you could avoid it.

Actually, who says the First Order didn't surgically implant, a la Suicide Squad, a device that would let them terminate all the "bad aliens" at once? Quick AND easy... as well as cost effective, assuming a fairly simple injection of the explosive/toxin-releasing device...
I think the first orders plan is to send it loads of hostile aliens and then come to Earth offering friendship and assistance in dealing with the hostile aliens

We are starting up a new Space Force which I hope in the years to come. Will become a force made up of all humans not just Americans. I've always thought (and wrote two college papers on it) that today's Idea people, Engineers, scientists get much of their ideas from Science Fiction. If this is true, our future space military should learn from Star Wars and other science fiction ideas. How should we lay out our fleets? How should we handle space battles, ground battles, and NEVER allow Jedi to lead our military. lol

Could we beat them given imperial tech could earth manage to save the empire from it's fate. Also here is my end theory for the Separatists v Earth: Russian Spetsnaz Commandos fire thousands of ICBMs into space, and with the sheer number of missiles the space cruisers can't destroy them all and the Droid control ship is eliminated. Yey Russia.
except that the crusiers would have minutes maybe even hours (depending on altitude) to shoot down all those missiles.
also why use commandos to fire them? I was under the impression there were people specificaly trained to aim and fire those missiles
Terry Forsdyke The reason I chose Spetsnaz Commandos is because they would have been the most likely to survive, as well as other SpecOps groups like the SEALs. I presumed that the cruisers would be in a low Earth orbit, like the ISS. If that was the case then Nuclear ICBMs would have had their max effect. I am solely relying on that for this plan lol
You sound a bit like a fanboy... that beeing said, i doubt that plan would work... expecially if the cruisers are in low orbit, their point defense weapons would destroy the ICBMs before they vould even get close, the radiation would then hurt us more than they would hurt their droid forces. That happens when Russia tries to "save" something :D
Fact is: no single nation could defend earth against a technologically superior enemy like that, either fight together or die alone. The best chance would be to get some of their tech and call the Republic for aid.
E. Mailissimo I'm simply making a theory. This scenario where point defense weapons are involved is where a MIRV Missile would shine. MIRVs are capable of carrying 10, maybe more, Nuclear Warheads. If a missile reaches the upper atmosphere and then launches the warheads, the swarm of warheads would quickly overwhelm the defenses. That is the concept of a MIRV.
I know they want to make alien the bad guys, and then coming to the rescue and looking as the good guy. Love the video :D

First Order spams alien mercenaries at the planet, then swoops in and mops them up, apologizes for the inconvenience caused by this band of "renegade space pirates", and invites Earth to their interplanetary government. As their representatives will be humans, Earth is likely to agree with little hesitation.
