I imagine that Leia would be more willing to redeem Vader in this tbh. She would realize that even though he was wrong for killing constant Rebels and friends, her anger toward him would be less intense, and recognize that there is a man under that black suit. It would be funny if Leia decided to do an investigation against Vader and find out who he once was - possibly finding out about their connection sooner or later.

This premise has ALMOST happened in the old canon. In the radio adaptation Vader does approach Tarkin behinds the scenes on the Death Star and tells not to destroy the Alderaan without permission from the Emperor. Tarkin rebukes him, saying that the Emperor has already given him full authority to use the station, and so he will do so as he sees fit. This was back when the Emperor was intended to be more of a figurehead than a scary Sith Lord, so the point was that even the Emperor's name meant little to Tarkin's de-facto junta government.

What if Grievous failed to kidnap Palpatine? In this one the jedi who were defending Palpatine from Grievous managed to kill him, what happens next?

In this version Leia has even more wasted potential. Should've had Leia's death sentence reinstated after the destruction of the death star and with Her death imminent what would Bail do.
With only hours left till Leia's very private, hush hush execution, that will be covered up as either rebels targeting loyal imperial citizens or just an accident, Bail Organa has only one card to play and offers lord Vader the opportunity to find Obi-wan, but when Vader gets to Bank's cell he tells Vader who Leia's parents truly are offering DNA and a faked midicloriean test results. Bail knows his life us over but hopes some of Padme's husband remains
one thing is for certain: that blue Alderaann wine would be rare in the sense of it being available outside of Alderaann, not because the main source is destroyed by an overkilled space laser
What if the Death Star didn’t have the destruction lazer instead using the extra power from the kyber crystals to for anti fighter defenses, shields etc and used more conventional defenses like proton torpedoes defense fleets etc. In a sense a true mobile fortress that could deploy the full might of the empire to bear where they wanted
Instead of a planet destroying laser there is a large mining pit capable of processing asteroids at a record rate giving the station all of the materials they would need to build massive fleets within the shipyards located on the station

There was a Design like that: The Pulsar Station. Unfortunately, it wasn't as Big, and had no Planet-destruction capabilites, so Palpatine and Isard never let it go past the Design Phase.

Most likely Ben would have to be very persuasive about letting Luke accompany him to the death star, and afterwards he would probably heavily request the rebels to protect his family, so either tattoiine is put under rebel protection or the Lars are taken to a somewhere safe to wait out the war

The planet of Alderaan has always been the fixation for both the Empire and the Republic for countless eons. Having it destroyed by the NEW Sith Empire is just a waste.
This is a great story that definitely needs a part 2

Tarkin threathens Alderaan, Leia says the rebels are on Dantooine.
Alderaan is not destroyed and Leia is escorted back to her cell.
Imperials reach Dantooine and report to Tarkin that the rebel base has been deserted for some time.
Tarkin is furious and orders Leia's execution.
The Millennium Falcon comes out of hyperspace, chases the TIE fighter and gets pulled in by a tractor beam...
Great video what if and it would be interesting to see a sequel of this video to further expanded apon it.

Honestly, I'm surprised that Vader, a dark lord of the Sith let Tarkin push him around like that. If I was Vader and I was using the force on some snot nosed little upstart who dared to sneer at the force and me, and Tarkin started barking orders at me as if I'm a dog, I would have pointed my other hand at him and used the force on him in the same way at the same time. There was no reason for Vader to be taking that kind of crap from a weak human with no force abilities, regardless of whether he's governor or grand moff or whatever stupid title he had.
Back then the concept of Vader and the Emperor both being Sith Lords wasn't finalized. Tarkin and his military junta inner circle were intended to be the Empire's true shadow rulers, with a nearly powerless emepror, and even with Vader being the emperor's personal envoy to the Death Star, he, too, was opportunistic and ready to work with Tarkin. In the radio adaptation when Vader DID try invoke the Emperor's name to stop the destruction of the Death Star Tarkin rebuked him, saying that the emperor has already given him full command of the station, and so he'll do what he wishes with it.
this wouldn't happen, Moff Tarkin outranks Darth Vader, Palpatine essentially told Vader as much, "Tarkin is my voice, a Order from him, is a Order from me" basically, Tarkin was the Voice of the Emperor and Vader was his Sword
Except papls wasn't expecting him to kill a (to the galaxies knowledge) loyal planet and one so important to the galaxies history, he was expecting a random dust ball or rebel base, hell he fully Intended to punish tarken but Luke did it for him, so he just gaslighted the blame to vader foe not stopping him
very interesting idea. An open ending gives us the possibility for part 2 as well.

Sad to say that destroying a planet that orbits the same star would still cause bad things to happen to the other planets. You have to consider gravitational effects that would just all of a sudden go missing for one, then all the material from the planet getting blown up just going everywhere, some of it has to hit the others.

See i don't understand that Tarkin had the Authority to destroy an entire planet unless it was directed by the Emperor. If Palpy gave the order, he'd personally gave it to Vader instead of Tarkin in the first place.
No, the Emperor was close to Tarkin. Tarkin was in charge of the entire Death Star Project. Tarkin was also a GrandMoff which meant he was in charge of multiple sectors of space, not just one as other Moffs were. He had also created the " Tarkin Doctrine" of ruling through absolute fear. So The Emperor would have talked with Tarkin and given him his mandate or orders, seperate from what he gave Lord Vader. Tarkin was the one single Imperial Officer that Palpatine told Vader that he could not harm or kill. They were of equal rank if you put Vader in the military structure.
Palps gave Tarkin the authority to oversee the station as he sees fit because it was HIS pet project, and Vader was there to make sure Tarkin doesn't go against the Emperor. In the radio adaptation Vader DID try to warn Tarkin that the Emperor did not agree to Alderaan's destruction, but Tarkin rebuked him on the basis of having the highest authority on the station.
There was a fan fiction with a similar story:"The Angel of Aldeeran" where Darth Vader "feels" something about Aldeeran and stop the superlaser.
I got a question from Star Wars fan to a Star Wars CZcamsr George Lucas confirmed and stated this Anakin Skywalker could still reach his full potential and become the strongest most powerful force user ever of all time in history with or without his right arm, but tell me the anakin lose some force potential after his arm was cut or not that’s the question I’ve been asking myself
I was stated by Lucas that Anakin's injuries greatly lessened his connection to the Force. I don't think it was the loss of a limb more than the overall decay of his body. Maybe even his emotional madness. It doesn't help that his injuries left his body incapable of surviving without mechanical help, so it could also be his will to live or even a personal lack of desire of becoming as strong as he could be. What do you think?

b.) As for Darkhorse comics the Darrk Empire/Emperor Reborn series, it took both Luke & Leia to turn Palpatine Force Storm back unto himself.
On his own in full health or not, Anakin/Vader wouldn't be able to deal with Palpatine on his own and survive

Other news, Anakin/Vader had no problem with hyper jumping a ship into Palpatine location IF he Really Wanted To. Force wasn't needed.

I'd say that Leia being on the ship that took part in an assault on Scariff and then run away from there is enough of a proof to show the public that she was a traitor, but ok.

One does not simply build a moon sized space station armed with a super laser for the purposes of peace.
It would instead need to be armed with a Freedom Laser.
This is actually a really interesting thought experiment because I can see many different things (good and bad) happening. For example, until Alderaan was destroyed the Death Star wasn't known about really. If the galaxy saw what the Death Star could do, and almost did, it might make them submit or unite them to fight. The relationship for Vader/Leia/Anakin would be all different.

I’ve got a what if story that I’ve yet to see done: What If the Jedi Order never demilitarized? There was a time where the Jedi Order had its own Army (made up of both Force Users and Non-Force Users) and even their own Navy! What would the Galaxy be like if they never gave those up? Would the Clone Wars even happen? If so would Order 66 and the formation of the Empire even succeed?

If you follow the Force Unleashed timeline, Vader or Palpy would had sent Galen Malek/StarKiller to assassinate the rebel leaders. Also there's actually an operational HyperGate inside the palace behind the throne room. Most likely it exits to the Gree homeworld. If there's Clone War era fighters, Kenobi could had helped Luke&Biggs.

one what if Id like explored is what if Han had shot the middle tie when saving luke at the battle of yavin. It was one of the few times Vader was taken by surprise and completely open to attack and if han's attack had been just slightly different his tie could have been the one destroyed. I imagine the Emperor would have been enraged that not only was his super weapon destroyed by lowly rabble but he'd lost his apprentice. What happens next?

@tapple3971 you have to be joking. Because that is absolutely the craziest thing I have heard all year. The Empire had Royal and Imperial Academies that these soldiers and pilots went to. In a lot of cases the damned cursed rebels were former Imperials. The fact that a X Wing had such success against regular Tie fighters is the fact that the Imperial designers at KuatYards and any other of the yards that built fighters for the Empire didn't bother with shields. They stupidly felt quantity was better than quality. It wasn't until Thrawn came back and once again put his advanced Tie Defender back into mass production that the Ties began to slaughter the cursed rebels. Your theory is ridiculous sir

Something to take note of. If Luke and Biggs were using Arc starfighters, Biggs would have survived because the Arc starfighters has a tail gunner which could shoot down Vader's escorts or force him to retreat several times. Also there would be a chance of failure because Arc starfighters are wider than X-wings meaning that they would have more trouble navigating through the Death Star trench while evading fire than if they were using X-wings. Thus, I think it would be more accurate to say that Luke and Biggs were using X-wings instead of Arc starfighters.
The biggest problem with this what if is the statement of Han Solo having knowledge of the plans that R2 was holding. He was not informed of the plans until after they rescued Princess Leia from the Death Star being as how that didn't happen in this version she never would have told him this therefore he wouldn't be able to tell the empire this information while being interrogated🤡🤡🤡

I mean, back when George Lucas was creating the original Star Wars, his idea of how the Empire would be run was basically as a military junta with the Emperor as a figurehead. The people in the room where Vader said "The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the Force" were originally supposed to be the highest authority in the Empire. So I'm not sure Vader would have had the authority to overrule Tarkin. So this scenario could have worked out, but Vader would have had to persuade Tarkin, he couldn't have just told him off. Also, Vader wouldn't use the excuse at 16:47 that "his mandate is from the Emperor".
He TRIED to do it in the radio adaptation (which was also overseen by Lucas). Tarkin rebuked him, saying the Emperor has already given him the mandate to use the station as he saw fit, but Vader did try to stop him and noted that the Emperor never agreed with the destruction of Alderaan.
