Off-piste skiing at Mayrhofen near Zillertal in Austria

Looking for freeriding and off piste skiing around Mayrhofen in Zillertal in Austria, then check out this freeriding video!
On a recent skiing trip to Mayrhofen in Austria we decided to do some freeriding and off piste skiing outside the pistes. Mayrhofen features some really exciting and fun freeriding and off piste runs - especially in the Horbergtal Valley just above the 150 Tux cable car. Here we did freeriding and off piste skied three really fun lines down the valley.
The coordinates for our drop points for the three freeriding and off piste runs into the Horbergtal valley are:
First run: 47.191041, 11.767375
Second run: 47.191687, 11.767282
Third run: 47.189814, 11.767840
We also went to Ahorn on the other side of Mayrhofen. Here we climbed the Filzenkogel and did freeriding and off piste skied back down to the skiing resort at Ahorn. This was also a very nice run!
The coordinates for our drop point on top of Filzenkogel at Ahorn is:
47.133040, 11.881560
On our trip we actually also off skied at the Hintertux glacier, but unfortunately I did not capture any video footage of our off piste skiing there. The Hintertux glacier is a pretty good place for freeriding and off piste skiing, though. There are several marked lines on the piste map.
Freeriding and off piste skiing in Mayrhofen is really accessible. Most lines can be accessed from the resort by taking the ski lifts, but there are also good opportunities for back country skiing and skitouring, and climbing with skins.
