    This video is so much fun and so typical of your daily photography. And this is what photography is, the fun you have finding the right light and playing with composition and point of view. Mike can tell and explain how photography can work for you like no other!
    Taking Mike's courses is worth more than buying a new lens or something like that :) Do yourself a favour and foloow his courses!
    I know because, Mike has taught me to think better and smarter before I take a picture and thus be more relaxed and thus achieve better results, it's as simple as that.
    Every photoshoot I do, whether it's private for my own pleasure or a commissioned photo shoot, Mike is never far away :)
    This is what I wanted to say.
    Happy Shooting...
    Thanks Mike!

    Mike, never forget, mistakes are the first steps in learning, and the keys to opening the doors of success. We all fall foul of hesitation, fear, and possibly miss that magic moment. But, you never catch the shot if you don't press the on button in your mind first. Hats off for not hiding your lesson. 👍

    As someone who has lived in Salisbury all my life, its so cool seeing this. The chalky hill you were on is Harnham Hill chalk 'pits'. We used to chamber up and slide down those as kids. It's just so crazy seeing such familiar places that are just minutes from where I live. Really a beautiful place. There is a lovely vantage spot up the hill, behind the harnham social club, near the allotments. Also from Harnham water meadows, across the river and out across the farmers fields.

    Why no tripod to eliminate the shake and wouldn’t having tripod of giving you the option to take a longer shutter speed when photographing across that water, which would have smoothed out the choppy water.

    Gopro is not a camera I can recommend using as helmetcam in general. So often it will just stop recording + the batterylife is not good. The only good action camera is Dji Osmo Action 3, but there can be older version with bad focus from factory. But else it have 160 minutes batterylife, can handle -20c and never fail recording. Also it's cheaper.

    • @MikeBrowne
      @MikeBrowne  Před rokem +1

      Thanks for the recommendation @Roger Johansen Photography. I've looked at other options but would want to try before buying. Don't want to get something online then discover it's not what i want and have to begin again. Gopro's are horribly finicity and battery life terrible. But I have to say the dynamic range and ability to capture extreme lighting without needing any post work is amazing.. MB
