    Great job on this review. You set the best example of how a man can teach without using cuss words. Very professionally done. Thank you.

    Got mine today in a kit. Ridgid hit a home run with this vacuum. Filters and dust bags are readily available. More suction power than the Milwaukee packkout vacuum. That sweeper suction port is really cool. Great video

    I won't use a shop vac without a bag, so it's nice that this one accepts the bags. For my purposes, because the bag will catch so much, I would probably save some money with a the lower end filter if/when it comes time to replace the slightly more expensive blue one. Thankfully since you posted this, the came out with the Pro Gear attachment.

    That sweeping feature is awesome. That would be great for cleaning up the pine litter sawdust in my garage.

    I have the older style (the first one you showed). It was a complete waste of $. The motor is fine. It blows a lot of air but the compartment doesn’t seal so I get very little suction. It will pick up fine dust but anything with more mass just stays put. I just ordered the NXT one. I’m really hoping it’s much better

    This should have been a hybrid. 120v or 18v.

    • @Swantek-Enterprises
      @Swantek-Enterprises  Před rokem +1

      It’s really 120v power without the cord, I don’t say that because I love it, I truly feel like it has plenty of power! It’s the second thing I grab for every jobsite right after my tool belt.

      If you want a hybrid, look for the one Dewalt has. It runs on both AC and DC current. But the suction is not nearly as strong as the Ridgid

    Helpful vid. That bottom dust feature is also on the corded vac. Have the older version cordless. I like that its smaller and lighter but the suction tube hanging is inconvenient. The storage on the new vac is good and its advertised as having about 20% more suction and more is always better. Maybe if the BF price is cheap enough...

    What was Ridgid thinking or not thinking when they didn't design it to fit on their tool box system? I think they will loose a lot of sales not making it work with the their tool box line.

    • @Swantek-Enterprises
      @Swantek-Enterprises  Před rokem

      This would work for simple tasks, it has the suction for auto detailing simple tasks, but not dog hair and such stuck in carpets. But run time on an 8ah is a good 1-2 hours. I use an 8ah now and it will last almost all week on small clean up tasks around job sites.
