This is my Maracas, my sweet memory, my dear place, I can close my eyes and bam I am there seeing the Caribbean Sea teasing me through the bushes, the nice Spanish man at the main road selling his fruit, the spring on the right hand, cloud tips mountains, shades of green everywhere, the curves of the road and view and the views..the open spots to stop and admire the Caribbean Sea and exhale ...woi!!.and that moment when I see and almost the salt water coming and then there she is right in front of me...wild turbulent calm Maracas Bay!!!
Cuba has a beautiful beach called Varadero beach. Jamaica has Negril. The Caribbean is one big beautiful beach, landscape, and peoples with great food.

Yes maracas beach is the best, I try to go to every stall and eat the food. Bake and shark is my favorite. Iguana is yummy with dumplings and ground provisions. I like the different chow at the look out in maracas

However, I am not surprised because there is a country with beaches, clear grean/ blue water, with amazing views and surrounded by thick forests just like those in Africa (West africa to be precise and I am from there.
I often imagine inviting you there when things are much calmer in the future.
My country has an archipelago with 88 Island (only 22 islands are populated for now) and they look just like those.....
Believe me, God and nature took their time when creating our continent.
