Wow it's so beautiful.

My favorite spot is pigeons point and no man land. You have to visit the restaurant in the tree.
With this type of Exposure. Africas Future is in safe Hands 🔥 Salute Mkoma WodeMaya
Watching with my family here in dakar Senegal 🇸🇳 we are shocked how these brothers and sisters look like us 😢 i will visit there one day before i passed atleast to see my peoples outside of Africa. Ya all come back home we miss uu 🙏❤️❤️❤️
Yes the black Trinis look very African!
@@jennalud4748indeed we do 🇹🇹👍🏾
We are one family...
Never stop learning.
We are your brothers & sisters. We're just living in the Caribbean islands. They took us from Africa but they could not take Africa from inside us.
If you are true fan of wodemaya and all that he does is an inspiration to you then drop some love Emoji ❤❤

As a proud Trinbagonian of African descent 🇹🇹, I am deeply grateful for the cultural legacy of my ancestors. This video has opened my eyes to their remarkable journey and their vital role in spreading our rich heritage across the globe. Let us celebrate our shared history with love and unity, recognizing that we are all connected, even if we may not realize it. One love, everyone! ✊🏿
❤️❤️❤️
@@868prosper I totally agree
#Wode Maya for Africa Ambassador and the Africa Unity❤
Wode Maya I must say thank you and express my gratitude as a TrinBagonian. You have shown the beauty of my country beyond just the sea and the sand. It is so beautiful to watch the strong connections we still share as a people. I have always been a proud Afro-TrinBagonian and after taking the time to really take in your work, it has taken that pride to new heights. Thank you and may continued success follow you for all your days. God Bless.
I just wonder why African schools don't teach our children about our people elsewhere in the world? This is a reminder of the massive damage that was inflicted upon Africans by Europeans. It definitely need to be recognized as a major historical atrocity...
I can't just imagine the separation anxiety of many African families all across Africa at the time of slavery....Our great great grand parents must have suffered immensely after losing their children to slavery.
We must push our governments to introduce a whole school curriculum about African slavery in the Americas & the Caribbean in our schools..This will start here in Kenya!!!!
Colonized school curriculums first of all upto this day unfortunately
@@chilombomululu6034 We got foolish leaders who don't think broadly. There's hardly no thought of decolonizing the African psyche & to instill Africa centric curriculum in schools..Our scholars too hardly do no research nor studies that could help develop & boost a unique Africa's Education system...
@@maxwellkariuki2930@maxwellkariuki2930 china used to be warring different dynasties with constant civil wars not too long ago, then they united and look where they are now. We are taking too long to at least have one voice and agenda on the world stage
Where did you get that notion that African schools don't teach our children about our people elsewhere in the world? We still use colonizers curriculum in all African schools till date.
I remember that I spoke to some Africans about the Caribbean people if they think they are African they said they d think so because that never has been a debate in their society since I heard that from ours brothers and sisters I just believed Africa it’s just our mother land be aware with some of the bloggers they just want to make money out of us.
I commend you for showcasing the carribbean because our people in Africa needs to see this and ppl all over the world. Our islands are so beautiful...it's our inheritance.
We ain’t done till we cover every part of the island
This is so beautiful. As an American-Guyanese I love seeing this. Trinidad & Tobago is such a beautiful country with loving people indeed.
Happy Tours Africa is following you from Uganda. Enjoy Trinidad and Tobago
I'm loving your Trinidad and Tobago series. Thank you again wodemaya

Yes, amazing people ❤. I was travelling around the world on a travel adventure in 2008 from the UK, T&T was one of the countries i visited. Had a fantastic time very welcoming hospitality in T&T. Yes, they are our African cousins in the Caribbean.
Natural Beauty of Tobago remind me the beauty of Gisenyi & Kibuye in Rwanda, absolutely Trinidad & Tobago are one of beautiful islands in the planet, thanks again Village Boy Woode Maya for this incredible & amazing Vlog of TnT. God bless 🙌 👍👏 🙏
Nice place that one really needs to visit..Big up Wode Maya.
Wodemaya, that's the way we also roast maize in Northern Uganda also.
Amazing
Ohh really 🤔, here in central Uganda we don’t do like that
WODEMAYA, I love your work. GREAT PRODUCTION as usual. You have a divine calling for what you do. May the Lord continue to bless you as you connect Africans globally.
Wode, I've seen ram fight or wrestling in Lagos Nigeria and roasting of corn 🌽 with its back cover in Igbo land. These are typically Nigerians way of life with our brothers in Tobago. Big up Wode Maya.
Wow, it's wonderful exploring through this chanel the island of Tobago and seeing this spirit of resilience, this conservative spirit of our ancestors brought into slavery far from the African continent, keeping some of their customs and traditions against all odds. They really proved that no matter how long a tree trunk stays in water, it never turns into a crocodile. We are very proud of them. Thank you very much precious brother for giving us this opportunity to see our brothers and sisters who are on this island of Tobago. May the Almighty God bless them richly !!! May you also be richly blessed !!!
Tobago is green gold...so much is untouched ❤❤❤
Nice to see a prominent CZcamsr showcase the good side of Trinidad & Tobago (aint knocking the other guy, bad side good to see as well, ) but good to see good content, professionally filmed and showing some of the positives of the Islands.
Lol Maya eh touching jail
If we do DNA, we may find a lot of cousins in those islands
Not cousins brothers and sisters
I See my grandmother there😢
@@piersonhaynes9778I was coming to say we (African diaspora) say brothers and sisters 🖤. White people says cousins when they refers to their relationship (English, Irish, White Americans and white Canadians).
It's so true my father side of the family is from tobago, spending holidays there in the 70s and 80s it was 99% African and almost no crime. The worst you would hear is someone stole sombodys goat.
Wow goat stealing is the only crime?

Maya, I started watching your content to learn about Africa and was able to learn so much. One thing i learnt is that i did not know much and what was shown on the television was not a true reflection of the continent. To see you in the Caribbean is pure joy. I remembered in one of your interviews you said 'your father told you to what's positive for Africans," and you did not disappoint, you were born for this. I am so proud you and your work and will always be greatful for educating us in the Caribbean about Africa as we see So many similarities. The Caribbean appreciates Africa and you. May the Lord continue to bless you and your family richly. Keep up the good work.🎯💯 I love my country 🇹🇹 and Africa.
This guy is not a normal being but a messenger from above sent to open our eyes to locate our lost brothers and sisters 👯♀️ ❤
There is so much amazing information in this video so much history. God bless you Wode Maya
Glad it was helpful!
Beautiful Country with lovely people ❤️
THE WEST INDIES ANTILLES OF THE WEST INDIES ANTILLAISES
Sweet Tobago, my sister isle. All of the Caribbean countries and North America have a connective thread of African influence. Tobago really manifest a great strength in family and community. Trinidad being more resourceful in economy had more a cosmopolitan society which left the African man in Trinidad a different spectrum in the society.I hope that this little giant Wode Maya showcase our great similarities only differing by the different influences of Europe and other native lands ;this is where we as a people fail to unite knowing we share a greater heritage which is Africa . We now with so much exposure to knowledge should know that even if each country display a variety of expressions in the experience of slavery we are actually all one.As the great Bob Marleysaid Africa Unite it will change the world literally . Wode Maya✊🏿❤❤❤
This is great! @wodemaya! Keep Garvey’s vision alive by connecting all African ancestry across the globe! It’s important for us to learn the truth about our history/heritage! ❤❤
I don’t know your comment doesn’t have more likes. It needs to be pinned 🇬🇭🖤

If you really want to visit "Africa" in the United States, try to visit the South Carolina coast, rural Alabama and Louisiana. You'll be surprised.
❤Wode Maya is one of the best CZcamsr around the world!
Bro you are the truth! Shouts out from Charleston South Carolina 💪🏿‼️
I was in Charleston, South Carolina. I visited an old plantation and spoke to a lady who told me she was Geechee. The Geechee dialect is similar to mine. I Love the FBA folks! Salute.

Wode, there's a Fort monument in T & T designed and built by Kofi Nti Karikari, a Royal son of Nana Karikari , Asantehene in 1800s . Otumfour visited the place during his official visit to the Island this year. I encourage you to pay a visit, it will interest your large audience.

Sorrel drink - Mmm, very delicious tangy drink very popular in T&T, Barbados, and Jamaica. Guess what? I was shocked to discover this drink came from Ghana. In Ghana, it's called 'Sobolo'. Wow! This is absolutely mind blowing.

I'm surprised to find out in the comments , that some Africans from the Continent are just learning from the video that they have descendants in almost all the 35 countries of the Americas, not just the U.S.
@12:13 the young man telling the story about the tree 🌳 had me in amaze 😮 with the background and music it was like looking at the Avatar movie in, BEAUTIFUL 😍 is there a name for this tree?.
It's called a Silk Cotton Tree. Many fear cutting it down or even just giving it a trim.
Good to see you again brother. Keep up with the good works you are doing. From Angola.
Thank you for this nice video of Tobago. Thanks to Leroy George for sharing some history of the sugar cane and cocoa farming👍

It’s incredible how Trinidad has an Indian majority and Tobago maintains its African spirit and majority in population
Indian majority? Where did you learn that? in one of your terrible jamaican schools? You need to come with facts before you speak.
