Silverhand was in control. Notice the red outlines on her? Red is the color of speaker names and UI info, signifying that it’s V in control. When it’s Johnny, that color turns blue which is the color of the outlines of his construct.

Turns out she was Songbird after all. This DLC was perfect, I cannot deny it. CDPR did a great job.

There’s a line V says to panam in text along the lines of “Johnnys like the devil on your shoulder with no angel on the other” it would be cool if she’s not the missing angel but instead another devil. The two constantly butting heads about what they think is best for V, testing Johnny & V’s bond because V may end up taking her opinions more than Johnny and his ego wouldn’t allow for that.
It's not Johnny and Songbird fighting with each other. Whenever songbird uses the Relic cognitive protocal, it boots Johnny out for a bit.
If V ain't going Cyberpsycho, they will go Insane from two not only have 1 additional voice in their head, but also 1 additional personality with their own motives.
I honestly thought it was our V that went with Alt when Johnny takes over our body.

now that we've played phantom liberty, we know how tragic the whole situation is.. and how much weight we have to carry with each major decision
Songbird basically told Jonny that she hates rocker boys and that his music was mid. So from then on, the gloves were off, especially the one on the silver hand.
In a way she was Johnnys soulkiller nemesis, since she makes it technically "possible" to get rid of johnny

That'd actually be pretty rad.
A Militech construct chip to counter Arasaka‘s relic chip. Of course this would be used to kill and torture enemy spies and then send them back as double spies after their body has been taken over… this is the special tech Johnny’s chip was designed for. Putting an agent into an enemy’s body.
V's chip is used by Saboru Arasaka to take over Yobinaru's body. It's done during the course of the game.
It could be cool if Songbird is an engram that is actively trying to restore the effects of what the relic is doing to V, so that's why she's so aggressive to Johnny. But she's not helping V because she's doing it out of kindness, but because V is the only way to achieve her goal.
So it's basically a choice between having V choose to save his own mind but destroy Johnny with the help of Songbird or remove her engram, thereby keeping Johnny safe but still putting V in danger.
V is gonna be like Sora if this keeps up

Johnny works because he is this asshole we want to get rid of, but in our attempts at doing so and because of our personalities meshing together, he slowly changes and you start liking the guy. Still rough around the edges but he means good. How could they do that again with another character in just a DLC? Only way I can see this working would be if it's a DLC of a Witcher scale where it's basically another game since it has almost the same play time as the base game.

After watching the review trailer I already know what's gonna happen. She's the one who knows how to fix V. So long as V helps her save the president and crush the regime in Dogtown, she has the resources and technology to help V with her relic problem. This could mean a final goodbye to Johnny. But she won't stay in our head, she just downloads herself into your brain from far away because she can, again she has the technology and knowhow to do this stuff. And it's only when the relic is acting up. She can also see and talk to Johnny, and to Johnny's dismay. The problem is Johnny is no longer a person. He's a construct. This is how V combats the relic long enough to keep living. What's happening is in a way V starts to change the relics data as well since the two have become a whole. This means tho that even still, Johnny will behave close to his old self, but with a tinge of Vs way. Included with that aspect, the relic still thinks it's alive, as that's the constructs purpose. It was meant to be placed in a body to eternally tournament Johnny after downloading him to it. Until then he was in cyber prison. But we came along and saved him. But to our dismay. Losing family, and nearly our own life. Johnny will react negatively to her attempts to "cleanse him" or reset the relic. Again he thinks he's still alive, so he fears V will betray him. The sad part is, Johnny was deleting V, she had to keep Fighting, and still has to. But with the help of this new agent, we might finally be free... I'm COMING HOME JUDY 🥲😭 I'M COMING BABYDOLL
It might be, the ongoing theory from educated observations over her character model is that its likely Spyder Murphey, as it has every physical feature of her, even down to her cut off braided ponytail, red, skin color, eye color, and physical features after the events of the Arasaka Tower assault.
V is just built different, I guess
We hear V's voice the whole trailer. We hear Johnny exactly when this scene happens. If you ask me, the red hair is V's construct, while Johnny controls the body.
