I like that Dracula isn't entirely unreasonable because he actually put the guy down to talk when he said he was evil too lol, but it's never a good idea to insult Dracula at all.
He only pointed out at that his servant wasn't doing a good job, not really an insult.
In the books Dracula was not a rampaging monster. 😊😊

Looks great. I also like how he gets the whole Count Dracula really wants to acknowledge who is amongst him before doing anything else against them, well namely the leader since he left him to live and he is the only one with the answers he wants
Top tip- stay away from any dude that heats his house with candles. Especially church candles. Tea lights? Not so much so..
Seriously! The set decorator must have hated this job. Imagine in real life keeping that many candles going for just a few days.
@@michaelblaes9847 In ancient times there were servants and people that are alled Nigth Watchers and their main functions were to take care of the candles at nigth at all times. Specially in the Victorian era where public candle streetlights still were used. and yes...they really had to walk ALL NIGTH controlling the ligths and rekindkle the candles if too much wind or if they just were off.

This week on Hoarders: an ancient Count whose lair is a bloody mess. His electricity has been shut off so he must light the place with candles instead. Can his Familiar talk sense to him before he faces a hefty fine from the city?
All those candles must have cost a fortune...
This could have been an excellent, fun flick, and it starts so well. But it completely falls apart towards the end and never recovers. Cage and Hoult are excellent in their roles, though.

Funny thing is I think Nicholas Cage would be great as The Joker. How abusive Dracula is towards Renfield is really similar to how Joker manipulates and abuses Harley.

I wanted to love this movie and I watched it with my wife. She liked it but I thought it was pretty terrible. Nicolas Cage is a favorite of mine but this movie blows.

Watched it today. Simply awful. 👎 Cage did justice to a lame script. The leader of the Lobos had an easy lines, repeating f---- in every single scene. I was mistaken thinking the mother was veteran horror actress Barbara Steele.
Cage is a horrible actor, and only reason is in HW is due to his parents. Sad. Think the guy would get the hint that he was in only about 4 movies that were "good" and give it up and let someone else suck just as bad for the next 25 years of garbage movies.
