But because he passed, she's saying "Oh well, it's very easy to beat a polygraph. The polygraph can only tell you if someone is knowingly being deceptive. If someone absolutely believes what they are saying then they will pass. For example if a person with paranoid schizophrenia had experienced a hallucination they could well pass the test because with that particular condition the hallucination is accepted by the brain as an actual event that is then stored as an "accurate" memory. If you questioned them about it for s polygraph they would probably pass even though it never happened.

They do a lot of pretesting to establish that someone can be tested and get a base line. The quick test with 10 questions u see on a lot of shows aren't reliable. The thing is those shows are still good bc they arent going on the test alone. The maury show for example. 99% of the people that come to maury already have a lot of evidence against them so the test is likely right even tho badly done. That's not always the case with Dr phil and Dr phil handles much more serious topics than a bf cheating on his gf. It's vital that Dr phil has good test so they do things the right way. The right way can take a few hours.

So basically, she already had her mind made up that she wasn't going to believe it if he passed. But would have believed it whole heatedly if he failed, I bet. How nice. I hear that a lot. If someone fails, they believe it without question. If they pass, they start questioning the accuracy of the test or how it can be cheated. And yes, it can be cheated. But professionals know exactly what to look for if someone is trying to cheat the test and even the machine is sensitive to it. Its not impossible to cheat the test. But it takes a huge level of skill to pull it off and it go unnoticed. These newer polygraph tests are difficult to fool.

Ok so I work for DPP I started with NSW PD and CDP in the last 11 years I have taken 5 polygraph tests - when you woke in law enforcement you are tested . I have lied in EVERY single one of those 5 tests .. and I have also never failed a polygraph ….
Just to be Clear I didn’t lie about anything epic - several questions in each examination I lied on - one of the questions was “have you ever used illegal narcotics - I answered no but when I was at university of Denver I did plenty drugs at parties and with friends - that questions had been wasted to me 5 seperate times in a polygraph and I have lied each time .
The department entrance exams had multipolar other questions that I lied about . The in scope exams are different and I most of those questions where straight forward but over my entire career through 5 polygraphs with 3 different departments I have lied at least 10-15 times in polygraphs and I have never failed or fallen out of score and
    Passed each +2 or higher
You don’t need to look up anything online to beat the test - because thinking you need to use a trick to beat the test assumes the polygraph is capable of determining deception with 99 percentile accuracy and it cannot do this
If the test is not accurate 99 percent of the time at the minimum then it is useless - it doesn’t matter if it is accurate 89 percent of the time for example because consistency in predicting this is the primary framework that establishes the tools reliability .
I didn’t use any tool or trick to beat the test - I didn’t need to beat the test at all because the test isn’t capable of detecting deception so there was nothing to beat . I was polite to the examiner I praised his craft spoke with him about my Australian nationality (I was born there ) and I knew was going to pass before I had the first question
Credibility has not been established in this industry - before they start saying they know who lied and didn’t - why don’t they test 25 people half of. Who will tell them accurate stories and the second half will be deceptive . They need to get 24 /25 correct to be considered a reputable valid tool in law enforcement
I BEAT THE TESt and I’ve. Been a cop for11 years and taken 5 tests - so Dr you test isn’t accurate - and it needs to be accurate all the time …

it's likely that they are both telling the truth but that he has differing boundaries when it comes to taking baths with ur children. he may have thought of it as totally nonsexual whereas his daughter may have felt creeped out. memories are usually exaggerated and are never completely accurate.

If the test isn’t correct every time minus the control then it isn’t credible and it definitely isn’t for police work or court

Still polys are inaccurate enough to be inadmissible in court and we convict or free in sociatys verdict upon them.8 am quite sure this guys is top of his field in this yet there is only a probability of accuracy and that when emotional problems or psychopaths don't cause people strange reactions to this test or these questions. I'd be terrified if accused of some of thos stuff because wi have truth issues wuth authority. I pray too many poeple aren't falsely dammed by families or their victims words nit ignored over thes eyes. With probability there will always be the statistic fails branding people
