I can't believe what different team the Canucks are without Dakota Joshua. With him on the third line they just stabilized the whole forward group.

So many bounces went Minney’s way this game. We scored 7 freaking goals and still got no points. This is on the D and DeSmith has to make some saves.

Well, if the goalie would have covered it with his hand instead of Cole, they would have blown it dead.
To be fair they were all penalties. The only one that wasn't a penalty was the weak call on Zadorov that started everything. Though the 5th Wild goal was complete bs as you said. That puck was covered for over 20 seconds.

Я и не помню чтобы миники выдавали такие крутые матчи. Безнадёжно проигрывать по ходу матча (в какой то момент показалось что будет разгром), но собраться и вырвать победу у рыб которые сейчас на подъёме - это круто. Много шайб забито после комбинаций и борьбы на пятаке, тренеры миников сделали правильные выводы.
я поставил на победу минессоты 10к когда проигрывали. жаль не в основное время. ты плохо знаешь значит команды, минесота уже не дно и капризов заиграл. а это по сути джокер которым может вытащить самый безнадежный матч.

I went to watch hockey and football game broke out! Felt for DeSmith Don't usually see a goalie stay in for all goals? A Wild Won for sure!
That’s the craziest game I’ve watched in a long time. Also the worst goaltending I’ve ever seen from two teams
You really need to re-watch the goals that DeSmith was letting in. He was not helped AT ALL by his defence.
He got schooled multiple times to be fair those passes and shots were on point.
The canucks not getting the puck low at the end leading to the final hat trick was a tragedy lol extending the agony

The NHL MUST stop refs from trying to even out calls after a missed one. The first period penalties against the Canucks were clearly compensation for the missed interference on Myers.

Now these are the Canucks I remember.
I suspect that the officiating were not to the liking of the Canucks in this game. I think it all started with the Myers interference no-call. I suspect that the refs lost the game right there an then. I'm impressed that the Canucks came back and made a game out of it after the barrage of penalties on the Canucks. I thought that they would be very angry, but they can't slash or fight the referees (or shoot the puck in their direction), so they would fight the Wild instead. But, then again, there is this old saying: You can't win the game in the penalty box. It appears that this game is a good example of that.
So, I know most fellow Nucks fans will say that the refs screwed them over in this game. While I can agree to a point that the reffing was...lackluster, the Canucks still let 10 goals in. At some point your defense needs to prevent chances or your goalie needs to stop a puck. Minny barely had any shots on goal when it was 8-6. Reffing in the league is dogshit 90% of the time I get that, but at the same time, you got to be prepared for that. When you collectively let in 10 in a game it's time to take a good hard look in the mirror and try to figure out how to put the pieces back together because that one was bad no matter how you slice it. Unless you're a Wild fan ofc, in which case, kudos on the win.
