Hey isnt that called breaking the 4th wall when the character is being aware
This is what is called "leaning on the fourth wall," which is a vague awareness. A character has to be completely self-aware in order to break the fourth wall.
Michael Rodriguez yep,Hideo Kojima uses both, where the characters either comment on things in game that would break the 4th wall but aren’t aware about their current status as a video game character and when they outright talk to the player, such as when in the first MGS you are told to find a code on the back of the game case, which was to combat pirates.

I once dismounted on a beach to get a hidde treasure underwater, and while swimming I saw the Drowners attacking Roach while I was swimming away to get the treasure.

I'm proud of saying that I've never left Roach in those circumstances. I love my in game horses as much as my long-departed dear real one. 💜
Since I first met Gaunter O'Dimm, I had always believed that Gaunter had such a huge interest in Geralt, that he, in secret, gave Roach the power of immunity and teleportation.
Geralt is like another Roach for Gaunter: A very interesting character.

If you try to romance both Triss and Yen, they trick you into thinking you're having a threesome and they leave you tied to the bed, both breaking up with you. Dandelion unties you and you end up with him. Bromance at it's finest.

I'm thinking that's how it should have ended... Roach wanting to play really bad. So you play a game. Then once the compulsory game of Gwent is over, it does the ending part the same... the potion wearing off.

Geralt was very happy he got to talk to roach. You can see in his glossary of roach that he agreed that roach was a good companion to talk to.
I could really use that Brew. Especially with the horses in Tamriel.

I agree with how bad it is when you find them but it is nothing to get upset or mad about it. It is just a game at the end of the day. Roach was like an integrated bug into the game for me and many more, if it wasn't for that Roach wouldn't be the joke it is now and this quest won't be as fun as it is.
There are no perfect games but I won't deny that things like that could be fixed with a little bit of more bug-testing.
Got instant depression when Geralt couldn't talk to him anymore. Especially with the music they played at the end of the quest.

The grief I felt when the quest ended is similar to when I finished the main story. Witcher 3's quests are of such high quality. We want more of Roach talking, but alas, we need to say goodbye to all these wonderful characters and move on with our lives.

Seems alot of people miss the point where Geralt mentions it's odd how a young mare sounds to manly, pointing out directly that Roach is indeed a girl. Roach's reply implies that young mares do sound manly.

+zraiken that's not all tho. during the fist of fury mission, you fight a wisecracker named mancomb in a battle of words. mancomb is a play on Guybrush from the monkey island game franchise. also there's a guy you meet in a certain place called Handsome Jacques which of course is a play on Handsome Jack from Borderlands!
Game is littered with all these little tidbits from internet culture. There is a cave in Skellige with three cave trolls named Jesse, Joe and Dodger for example. Excellent place to farm mutagens and troll livers btw.
Anyone notice Geralt also explained why he talks to himself when investigating stuff even when alone. Always found that hilarious.

This is one of the funniest missions in gaming for me. I love how Roach does all of the investigation and just roasts you the entire time.
They chose the perfect VA to voice Roach
Don't know why, but the end of this quest was kinda sad. Maybe because this was most likely the first and only chance for Roach to verbally interact with Geralt. Fun and original quest overall.
