Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Letho at Kaer Morhen FULL
Vložit
- čas přidán 2. 03. 2017
- Full version of what happens when you asks Letho to aid you at the Battle of Kaer Morhen against the Wild Hunt.
Two versions: With Lambert and Eskel and with Roche and Ves. Sadly Vesemir barely has any remark on the Kingslayer.

letho, thaler and dickstra are the best characters in all the witcher games.
yennefer might win the battle of wits with geralt, but dijkstra would destroy her with his level of cheeky sarcasm.
@@insanecuckooman8342 Thaler in Witcher 1 was probably the most memorable character. I just do not know how good it was in english language as I almost immediately changed it to czech as english was very poor when it came to linguistic.
I wandered into his house by chance - during standard "search and confiscate" operation, woke him up to see if he is trader or has quest for me - and it was immeadiately clear that this one is somebody special. :-)
Roche: Why is the Kingslayer so important?
Letho: Eredin is a king.
LOL savage
How the fuck does Letho even swing a sword or scratch his ass? His arms and chest are gigantic. Tookie big

Letho is the most intimidating character in The Witcher. He isnt just big and bulky, hes also intelligent, experienced, skilled, agile and very fast. Also doesnt take shit from anyone. He deserves his own DLC
Dlc with gaetan and rebuilding witchers at kaer morhen
I'd love for Letho to take over as protagonist in future games
@@eddieguererro46 Well, he was made from scratch for The Witcher 2, so essentially it wouldn't be a bad idea as Geralt is the protagonist of the books' saga. This would let CDPR do what they want as Letho is completely devoid of anything now, no enemies, no friends, a tumultuous past but it's all wiped clean pretty much since W3 comes to terms with almost everything.
he did was called the witcher two- assassin of kings.
I was thinking that, his own dlc, they should have gave ciri and him a dlc, not that I'm saying I didn't enjoy the dlc we got it was beautiful
Letho: we going to try to kill him?
Geralt: too risky
Letho: pansy

Witcher 2 is weird. Letho was only sort of an antagonist. I nominate Shilard.
@Dex4Sure Stabbing Henselt and watching him wither as he died was the most satisfying thing in the entire game
@Dex4Sure Stabbing Henselt and seeing him bleed to death was the most satisfying moment in the game
@@thisisaname5589 The "antagonist" was ultimately Emhyr, he was the one who ordered Letho to kill the northern kings. But it's a complicated story with very few "good" or "bad" characters. Kings killed each other all the time and Emhyr was simply trying to do it through cunning rather than all out war, and most of the northern kings were cunts anyway and often their subjects were glad they were dead.
Had Letho been developped more, the ending I would have had in store for him if he stays at Kaer Morhen whereas Eskel and Lambert leave, he sticks around, repairs stuff, and turns Kaer Morhen into a haven for witchers, elves, dwarves, and other outcasts from the Northern Kingdoms.
It sounds good but why would he do that?
@@aurelien5747 if you dont kill him right away at the witcher 2 final encounter with him he says that he killed the kings to rebuild his witcher school, it would be in character he would stay and rebuild so he can host outcasts at kaer morhen, it would spread the word and those who are still alive of the school of the viper can finally be reunited and live in relative peace, hes not bad, but he isnt good either, characters like him are very grey
After Vesemir is gone most people expect Eskel to take his place and take care for future witchers. I can't imagine having a hybrid-witcher-academy in Kaer Morhen, teaching the way of the wolf and the viper (optional the way of the cat aswell, 'cause Gaetan also seems to be a bit lost in this world).
@@alexandermchunter5125 eskel abandons kaer morhen, so letho will be the only one there. Besides, i doubt letho will make new witchers so it wont be that much of a witcher school anymore.
Like i said.build and repair the castle to its former glory days.then make it a base for all schools.they all teach the styles.imagine a witcher fighting in feline, ursine, wolf, viper, manticore, griffin styles all together.changing the styles accordingly.
Or just give differrent parts of the castle to different schools.or give different parts of the whole map.like that training grounds being a viper school.castle itself being wolf.making big buildings for different schools and make kaer mohren as a base for them to regroup.so every school can do their own thing.

Iorveth is missing :( Can you imagine this reunion if Iorveth were there too? Roche, Letho and Iorveth meet in one place at the same time, it sounds like the beginning of a joke. Or a bloodbath.
iorveth was my favourite character, when you meet a scoiatel unit in the woods they talk about him and if he is alive or dead, he basically became an elven legend in the witcher 3.
a scoiatel commander a blue stripes commander and a king slayer walk into a bar.....
i miss saskia :'(
Too bad the Sco'iatel content was cut from the game due to time constraints. Imagine Roche meeting Iorveth and Letho at the same time. Would be his worst nightmare lol.
I'd love to see them playing Gwent and trash talking in the Hall.
Card Deck: Northen vs Squirrel
Letho isn't the bad guy most make him out to be. Yeah, he killed Demavend and Foltest along with other people but one must also look at the "good" things he did. He spared Geralt on their first battle feeling he owed him for their first encounter, he didn't hurt Triss even though he kidnapped her and even rescued her later (with the appropriate in game decisions) and protected her in Loc Muinne until Geralt got there. He promised he'd disappear if Geralt were to let him go and he did, since by 1273 he was deep in hiding. He tried to avoid conflict with Geralt if possible since he saw him as a friend and told him he'd find Yennefer in Vizima. Lastly, he helps Geralt in the battle with the Wild Hunt even though he had no reason to do so and nothing to gain. Sure he did horrible things, but still he's far from a bad guy.
Someone else would have done it, and killing letho only helps the man he worked for.
Oscar Gonzalez someone else would have done what? Killed Demavend and Foltest? Killed Letho? Helped Geralt with the Wild Hunt? Your comment makes no sense.
He is pretty bad, he has his code of honor but he's also a remorseless killer. Doesn't stop him from being pretty fucking cool though.
sevach
Oh, and Geralt isn't remorseless when it comes to killing? Just because Geralt may (in the books at least) prefer to find a peaceful solution, doesn't mean when the swords are drawn he doesn't turn it into a bloodbath. There's a reason why he's called the Butcher of Blaviken you know. The fact that he slaughtered bandits in order to protect innocents, doesn't change that he painted the town red without hesitation.
Yeah.
At first he seems to be the bad guy, but once you actually talk to him and find out his intentions, you find out he really kind of had your back throughout most of the game. He also did that because he made a deal with Emhyr to do all that in exchange for land and money to remake their Witcher school.
Good Guy Letho: Risks his life for people who hate him.
Have to admit, Letho deserves to live at Kaer Morhen with all the other good witchers.
isnt that what all witchers kinda do?
ᚹᚫᚱᛞᛖᚾ meh, id rather get him back together with the other two viper school witchers and consign them back to the south where they can rebuild their order with a few copies of the ingredient list for the trial of the grasses. Rebuild all the witcher schools and organise the construction of a conclave somewhere so schools under attack have a place to retreat to, also somewhere where elected mentors from each of the schools can go and make emergency witcher councils if the need arises. At the very least that would help keep the cat school in check and provide a lifeline to witchers around the continent
Ethan Quirk that's kind of a good thing but remember that witchers no longer required as much than past times, cities now have a lot of soldiers and war machines, if they hire geralt is because is cheapper than sending 10 soldiers to kill a werewolf.
They are still needed. Soilders in B&W could do nothing against the vampires.
NormusDiabolus higher vampires are kinda on the level of a natural disaster and witchers really can't permanently kill them anyway

TW2 choices matter
I love how Letho's positioning in all the scenes where the crew is assembled, is always to the side, always a bit away from them.
It's like... Even if he's assisting them, he's still not *with* them, he's just *among* them.
Like in WItcher 2... Letho is NEVER at the center of events... just to the side of them... skulking in the shadows...
He doesn't belong, he's not part of it all... he's just there, to the side.

5:55 "He always talk this much?"
"Only when he's nervous"
Letho and Yenn. My favorite chars in the game. (i'll just have a peek. love that scene beyond belief.) Followed by O'Dimm and Zoltan.
Imagine if this battle had taken place in the Wolf Schools prime when they had almost 30 fully trained Witchers plus trainees they'd probably have 40 people by themselves all trained for fighting from early childhood with vast knowledge on how to kill these kind of enemies than if u take into account everyone Geralt brought to the battle it'd be really bloody for the hunt that's without even considering if there were that many Witchers still alive from the Wolf School those members would be bond to have gained renown Across the continent and the isles possibly beyond so they'd more than likely call in favors and for aid from their own allies so what I'm saying is if the Wild Hunt had attacked during it's prime the wolf school would've killed hundreds of them easily and probably would've had a lot more than 20 people defending a ruined castle
If ot was the entire wolf school prime eredin would be royally fucked
It would have been interesting if because Letho is present you could've initiated the Imlerith fight earlier in the game and started a different set of end game quest lines. It could've worked similar to how it worked in Witcher 2 when you choose who to follow Roche or Iorveth.
Loved seeing Letho fuck up Roche when Iorveth wasn't around to do it.
Shame, that Iorveth didn't show up in Witcher 3. According to in-game files, if Geralt managed to get all of them as allies - Rock, Iorveth and Letho would have some scenes together at Kaer Morhen. Such a missed opportunity.
After reading the books the line "You don't know how it is to see someone love before your eyes because of you" is so much more powerful:
Ciris first love Mistle was killed and mutilated right on front of her eyes by a mercenary because he wanted to break Ciris will. Ciri wasn't just talking about watching Vesemir die, but about Mistle dying aswell, two people she loved, one as a lover and one as a mentor, when she said that. And the best part about it? Geralt has no idea, he never met Mistle and Ciri never told him about her.
Old Leo was not a mere mercenary, he was a legend.
Misltle is ugly
Didn't Mistle force herself into Ciri? Is it Stockholm syndrome?

Letho is actually a chill dude
Say, what's the dialogue when Geralt says "I'll keep an eye on him" to Eskel amd Lambert?
Letho remains at Kaer Morhen after the end of the game? Like happens with Keira if she still alive?
Gustavo Ramiro - nope. She will leave with Lambert
If you sent Keira to Kaer Morhen without the notes, she will automatically save Lambert when the riders of the Wild hunt attack him (basically you cannot let him die... shame.. :)) and she will have romance with Lambert but... if you chose to let Keira have the notes of the Mage and still sent her to Kaer Morhen, after the battle she will try to reason with Radovid for some Plague from the notes, in which Radovid will have her impaled in Novigrad. And Geralt with Triss have option to take her down or let her rot.
Andrei Bîrta are you sure because I think if you take the notes don't you have to kill her?
Shattered Dream i took the notes and she was at kaer mohren. Tough i believe taking the notes was the last part before i parted with keira
Method775 I just finished and she didn't get impaled even though she had the notes
Letho is a seriously underrated character.
"Not so loud, Geralt. I just came back from the dead."

so basically Letho is the only one to remain at Kaer Morhen after the events? All the other Wolf School witchers mention they want to leave.
Eventhou I imported my witcher 2 save file I couldn't find letho ingame, now that I know he helps at kaer morhen Im even more pissed.
JustAnotherGamerNL must be because you must have killed him in the second game
No...
The same happened to me and the reason for that is that I accidentally imported an old save file of The Witcher 2 (before the final confrontation with-- well, you know who).
I feel so stupid realizing this only now when i'm in the end-game of The Witcher 3 :(
Well, at least it's a good reason to replay it after i finish...
You find him via a Witcher contract in Velen.
depending on choices early on, morvhran will interrogate you on a lot of the decisions you made in Witcher 2 if you do not import files.
So I understand now...if you import a Witcher 2' saved game and you haven't killed Letho, you can have he as ally in Wild Hunt.I'm little disappointed about this, cause I have a PS4 and I Know there is no version of Witcher 2 for my console.
