    My personal opinion.... The Tomb of Khengai Khan landmark should give all Greenskin factions recruitable hobgoblin units with no fire damage listed under their extended roster. They could add Khengai Khan as an LL (maybe resurrects after completing a mission or) throw him in like they did Epidemius. In all honesty some reskinned hobgoblins and a reskinned goblin warboss would be bare minimum and even then he might be better than Epidemius lol. Along with the savage orc update would complete the faction as a whole. After all there is a lot of extra unused territory to the south of Granite Spikes, West of Nan Gau, and North of Titan's Notch to form a triangle of useless map area. Would love your opinion on this Costin.

      After all if CA is willing to make Cathay and Chaos Dwarf lore they should finish the Hobgoblins because that was one of Cathay's main enemies beyond the great bastion not just Chaos. Some Hobgoblins sided with the Chaos dwarfs but there were many different tribes of them.

    Grimgor isn't too op to enjoy the game? All his bonuses + waagh+ orcs conquer mechanics makes me feel that I can beat everything even on legendary and after 20 turns i quit the game. Is his canpaign somehow challanging ? Same thing for Archaon (I haven't tried his canpaign yet but playing as kislev against him, he seems to be cery powerful and easy to play)

    The Swords of Chaos were a group of elite Chaos Warriors who were assigned to protect Archaon even before he understood who he was. I think there were only about 6-12 of them, and they were essentially silent automatons who would die to protect him. They slowly died off protecting him over the 300-400 years it took Archaon to collect all of his artifacts that he needed to fulfill the prophesy of being the Everchosen. The RoR is well done considering their damage reduction aura they give to Lords and Heros.

    which parts of kislev desperately need a rework other than devotion? i think their tech tree is fine, ice maiden recruiting is slow and annoying but not inherently broken in a bad way

    Really looking forward to the Ogre dlc as they are a big fav of mine. Have to do some strange stuff to manage their crappy economy like the almighty gnoblar trapper only stacks as those things are absurdly powerful. Overall I do find them my fav faction to play in battle, love em to bits with their heavy charges and greasus' mass bonus for the faction letting you bully enemy characters and unstick your units easily but the campaign mechanics need that love. They should maybe tone down hunters though, those things are beyond broken and no unit or character in the entire roster can even hold a candle to those army mulching gods. There's no decisions to be made as to whether a hunter should be in an army or another unit/hero ever if one is available to be shoved in.

    Hopefully the Greenskin DLC will focus more on the Savage Orcs rather than Black Orcs which will mean buffs/more diversity for Wurrzag and not so much a steroid injection for Grimgor, lol.

      ​@@Ett.Gammalt.BergtrollEven just taking a page from Astrogoth's design, and making it so the extra resists apply faction wide would be a big improvement for Wurt. Rn there's np real reason to use savage orcs outside his army, unless you *know* it's always going to be in the same province as Wurt once you get his ability that strips magic attacks from every enemy in the same region as him.

    Hadn't had the slanesh problem to be honest. Maybe a how hard do I steamroll problem because Tyrion and friends didn't got there chance to attack anything. Was it achallenge? No was it fun? Yes(at least for me). The is it strong or not point has lost its meaning do to the lack of difficulty in Wh3 in general for me but each there own. I personally still think that wh2 Vlad was the best/most fun total war campaigne ever so I am most likley not representative at all.

    As much as i care about the free update to the faction they feel really good but just needing unique campaigns and small tweaks. My focus is the paid content because they are missing a lot most of it is unit variants, a couple of lord and hero options, and a few more unique squig units.... and im curious what will they be choosing for it because i want it to be worth the money and not be only getting a few unit variants and still be missing stuff for the race.

    Gnoblars should be able to be sacrificed for meat. You should be able to unlock all big names and have them active at once; like WoC. Greasus should have 12+ Big Names. Camps should move either 10% of regular movement a turn or once every 5-10 turns. Camp Bosses should have skill points that effect their camp and can increase refund costs and rebuild speed; so you can tear down and rebuild somewhere else far away quicker. All Ogre units, except Gnoblars and Sabertusks should have Ogre Charge. Contracts should be fairly dynamic. Your first contract should be focused on three relatively close factions, your second contract set; if both the faction you accepted the contract from and the target faction are still alive should have offers from both factions with the “victim” trying to buy you off. A third contract if you don’t wanna play with those losers anymore. Also they should always reward a good money pile and an item or even multiple items.

    💯 agree, i only play tzeentch pretty much and its been a struggle i was all excited for shadows of change... And that was a flop with no rework for fateweaver... And changelings broken.... Wtff lol

    The problem is the reason they are weak, which is because you can just shoot all their units to death easily or build all anti-large, is a pretty lore accurate weakness. Ogres are easy targets for guns but a much harder prospect to face in melee, that's how it should be. The reason people think Ogres are bad is because they don't want to play Ogres how you're meant to, which is lore accurately. It means you have to sacrifice some of your army unit slots for gnoblars which you then use to soak up ranged damage for your Ogres by driving them ahead of your army during it's charge but leaving small gaps for the charging ogre units to get thru so the charge isn't blunted. But people just wanna build all Ogre armies which is neither lore accurate nor optimal. Although I will say perhaps a small buff to Ogre HP and missile resistance wouldn't hurt, but over-doing it would ruin Ogres just in a new, different way.

    I have brought these points up in the past in other locations, but I will stand by these points as I think they're needed for Ogres to really work with. 01. Starting with the simple changes, I think they need buffs on their stat lines or numbers to make them more viable With a bulk of them being low model count and large targets they need more bite to back them up. Make Ogre Charge only lose 25% or even negate charge defense entirely to make them even scarier, make their Ogres have higher melee attack and boost the stats of the Maneaters and the higher tiers. Make the Lead Belchers able to attack walls and towers, etc. These types of buffs are the most preliminary buffs they need. If I were to add more, I would say give them more splash damage and more unit cleave for ogres. Their attack animations need to feel more beefy in general. 02. Buildings in the Mountains of Mourn should be Ogre paradise. Not all these four slot settlements, but proper provinces with a nice, beefy capital area as a big camp of sorts where you can not only hire in big units without a camp nearby, but your allies in Co-Op can hire in the best Ogres money can buy. A simple change, but a welcomed one. 03. Camps are next on the list. The idea of camps as 'create a fortress' isn't bad by any means, but I think a mod called 'The Great Ogre-Haul' got it right when they made them movable forts which could be set up and shuffled around as you expanded is exactly what I think camps should be treated as. Make them mobile meat larders, recruitment, and generally a good way to cause headaches for foes abroad or make them hard-to-topple defenses at home. 04. The contracts need an overhaul, badly. However, I think the way to fix it is by leaning into a mix of Oxyotl and Snikitch's mechanics. You get contracts periodically from groups you are not hostile with, local or abroad, that has one of a small handful of general missions and maybe 'bonus' objectives. The bigger ones are 'Break Siege' which is what is says on the tin, they pay you to have your army assist in battle for a siege. Join Siege, same concept but in reverse. And lastly: Campaign Abroad. Minor objectives in it are 'Kill Lord' 'Kill Hero' or 'Kill Powerful Unit' to name a few. In all three you choose a contract, assign an army, and send them out which they'll disappear during the end turn as they are in-transit to the battlefield. Depending on mission they'll appear over the end turn (to break or support siege) or at the start of your next turn (Campaign Abroad). At the end of their mission they can or will be recalled back to Ogre Lands over the next turn or two to get home. For the mission 'Campaign Abroad' your army is teleported to the edge of the enemy territory, placed temporarily 'at war' with the target culture, and you are essentially encouraged to raid, sack, raze, or even capture settlements to harm and hamper the enemy force you are paid to fight (which if you capture during the contract you hand it over to your contractor). The more you disrupt, the more you're paid, and at the end of your contract you'll get the gold, meat, and likely items from outside the Ogre Loot Table as a reward (Prospector's Eyeglass is the best one I can think of on short notice) before your army is teleported back and the 'at war' status is deactivated. For players, if they have no hostile relations with the Ogres and are diplomatically available, you can hire them to do the same to your enemies or your cities for a large sum of money (Just as the AI can pay huge sums to send Ogres after you). The first three things I think are easy enough that it could be solved and implemented within a week or two, mostly for balancing and testing reasons. The last one would be where the bulk of the work needed to be done. What do you all think?

    Personally I like to keep one fuel HEMTT and one of the Cartel's fuel truck just in case, but overall I always tey to find resources trailers or trucks and empty them during the missions and then sell them on the global map

    I like races where I can get stuck in. This DLC is looking great on the cover. As a result of that, I play a fair amount of ogres. Their early economy is rough. Their minor settlements are trivial. The contract mechanic I just ignore. Basic ogre bulls are just bad. I treat them the way you treat gobbo spears or Brett infantry. They're too soft to really have staying power. Ogres need a bit more early game punch across the board. I have no issue with camps, save that I would just make the upkeep reduction building a passive tied to the primary structure. It's mandatory, and changes the camp from a valuable soft target to a very low cost 20 stack of high end terror I can AR most attacks on. I have never, ever lost a "completed" camp. I have lost a LOT of tier 1-3 camps I don't want to see moveable camps. I want camps placement and development to be relevant, the effective radius to be substantially larger, and for them to have significant interaction with minor settlements within its radius. For example, trade resources, if within camp control, should do more, like provide global upkeep, armor, or AP bonuses. This would incentivize smart camp placement to control them. Strong bonuses would be justified here, given the limitation of being in the camp radius. This also plays to ogre lore of controlling trade through the mountains. Once I reach late campaign, there is effectively no limit on camps. I have very solid artillery, some highly effective monsters and cav, and some much tougher infantry. Most of the real issues for ogres are in early to mid game, the contract mechanics, and the various animation issues. Late game, my Ogre stacks feel stronger than my greenskin stacks.

      100% agree on Ogre bulls being bad, Anti infantry duel wielding ones can do pretty good but aside from that Gnoblar trappers are just what you should be taking for the most part. I too would prefer the camp radius size to be vastly increased over movement though I'm not against movement either.

    You don't need to summon that army to attack the first settlement. Move Skarbrand as close as possible to the first army before you attach the Bloodreaper hero. If you do it that way, you can hit the army then settlement. Saving that summoned army to leap frog north.

    Ogres will get a huge overhaul, Khorne and Greenskins will get new units and minor balance adjustments-same formula as ToD.

      @@Costin_Gaming I guess you could argue that the changes to Empire Stability, Franz&Elector Counts, and Gelt getting his own mechanic adds up to a major overhaul for the Empire, but the core of Nurgle's plague system didn't really change.

    Why is Tamurkhan even relevant. His defeat trait is an exploit that can and will most likely we remedied sooner rather than later. Greenskins as a faction are solid and mostly fun to play especially Grimgor and his early game which allows for a rapid snowball effect early game. But Greenskins as a race are missing that special sauce that makes them a truly unique race from all the others. They suffer from not having the same DLC support as the four chaos gods even though they effectively have a mirror in their four clans. Which means that allot of flavor has been left behind. They also suffer from a majority of Legendary Lords being generic and bland in their campaign and gameplay mechanics which is an issue as it makes the whole race a beginner race with no room for advanced players and late game content. I really feel that the Greenskins could use proper weapon swapping for their Black Orcs and an upgrade mechanic for Orcs to transition into Big'Uns which are just Orcs that have grown larger from fighting and winning. A bigger enthesis on the Clans wouldn't go amiss but in order to prevent bloat I'd suggest making the clan building chains climate locked so that Night Goblins for example can only be recruited from regions and provinces that have mountain climates.

    I dont think GS needs to be senselessly complex as the others recently updated are. Perhaps i missed that, but along with tech tree improvement, there needs to be also a reason to use other lords than just a goblin shaman warboss. + ofc as you mentioned, all races would deserve some effective confederation system, thats not just a GS. Everyone in wh3 suffer from map splitt and many old systems working in wh2 doesnt make a sense. But I dont think, that aside of few buffs and reworks in above mentioned is needed. Simplicity fits a GS.
