Not arsenal fan but he Probably should have left for his own sake. He would have had an absolutely spotless legacy rn if he did .You have to somewhat love him for not bolting when he knew the club would be screwed even though it came back to bite him and the club in the end.

Yeah but not in 2007, if he did left in 2007 I could tell you that we would basically be fucked with the lack of resources, young squad … etc. I also saw a news saying that the bank would not loan Arsenal the money until Wenger sign a new contract as they believe we won’t make top 4 (therefore lesser money) without wenger

Peter Hill-Wood was to thank for our decline. Sorry I know he's dead but he was the one who sacked Dein (despite Hill-Wood only owning around 0.5% of the club) then advised the shareholders to sell to Kroenke anyway. Hill-Wood did what was good for him. He didn't have the passion or the love for the club David Dein does. Had David Dein stayed? I believe we would have won at least three more titles and won the CL before Chelsea did. The fans and the club are victims of greedy sellouts. This isn't what David Dein was. Yes he made a massive error in judgment introducing Kroenke to the club but he only did it because he wanted Arsenal to succeed and Kroenke played a blinder lying his way to control. We are seeing investment now but that's thanks to Josh Kroenke taking over affairs. Under Stan Kroenke? We wouldn't be spending a penny.

If you having nothing positive to say about Wenger then keep it to yourself. Stop hating on a man who did so much for the club.
