@@deadinside8781 This is my guilty pleasure so ill explain. In an omegaverse there are 2 genders: primary and secondary. The primary genders are the same as in real life: male and female. The secondary genders are made up of 3 catagories: Alpha, Beta and Omega. Alpha are the more dominant ones who tend to be active more while Beta are basically normal humans and Omegas are the submissive ones. In an omegaverse setting, the Alpha and Omega have a gland that releases pheremones and an Omega has a heat every month in which they need to take supressents or rely on an Alpha to cool down.
P.S Not all omegaverse have wolf like people, usually it tends to be normal humans with glands which look just like normal people. The ones with wolves are less common and for the ones with exquisite taste.

Judges do not know emojis and definitely not street slang so the expert had to explain that "young people use pictorial images to depict the meaning of phrases" and then translate what the person was saying. I know of a similar matter where someone had to explain Twitter beef for a harassment case. It is kind of scary when you realize an old man that cannot use email is deciding if someone is going to jail for years.

I do think 'snarks' might give people the wrong idea, though. While she does have a deadpan sense of humour, she can also be very earnest even when she doesn't like the subject.
...these days, at least. She did used to be more out-and-out snarky about things she didn't like.
And her essays are not only interesting because of her personality, they’re actually quite well-crafted and structured, making it easy to get invested in whatever topic she’s talking about. Not like a lot of lazy rambling CZcams rants which are still fun to watch despite it. Hers are fun to watch and are actually essays. Not randomly ordered, disparate thoughts that are all related to the topic but don’t follow each other. She easily lists all of her points, gives evidence for each, and all in all keeps it making sense and easy to follow, while also keeping it casual and not in any way pretentious.

35:15 - I know it's years later and no one (certainly not Lindsay) will see this, but it occurs to me - the reason the legal teams got hung up on if Cain's book was fanfiction or not is because that has bearing on the idea that she was the original creator of the concepts that were supposedly plagiarized, and thus if her DMCA takedown notices had merit or not. Like if her book had a whiny, cowardly, treacherous advisor to the main villain that she named Starscr-Sunshriek, and Ellis' book also had a character exactly like that with the same name, that could be plagiarism and the DMCAs may be valid; but if Cain's book originated as Transformers fanfiction, then her claim that Ellis plagiarized her becomes harder to defend since now instead of Ellis potentially copying Cain's character, now they're both copying a character owned by a third-party.
