Stone Temple Pilot’s Robert DeLeo sits down with Kyle Meredith to take us through the 25th anniversary of Tiny Music…Songs From the Vatican Gift Shop. The bassist and lead songwriter recalls the environment that led the band to exploring new sounds, including bossa nova, jazz, and glam, and the musical conversation that happens between him and brother Dean. DeLeo also remembers the MTV Spring Break show that is included in the deluxe edition of the album package and how he got food poisoning after the show. We also hear about the late Scott Weiland’s talent as a singer, poet, and the direction he was coming from on this set, and how the band have continued their sonic exploration on last year’s acoustic Perdida LP, and his thoughts on the band’s upcoming Aug 9th show at Sturgis. - Hudba

I met Robert a handful of times and I got to tell him how much I appreciated his bass playing and the whole band's talent.
Tiny Music was always and always will be my Favorite STP album..
But all the albums are gems..

I didn't understand much of Robert said...but i Love STP and i think he's really cute, he has a nice smile. Time has been good for him. This neckerchief reminded me of Marty Raney. Robert must watch Homestead Rescue😊. I am a brazilian fan🥰

Robert is Amazing--though he is a bit hard to draw out: he never has been one to give very long responses.
But Robert DeLeo--and his BeLoved Brother, Dean, and their Trusty Drummer, Eric Kretz--is Always a Class Act...
I love my STP. It makes me sad though, to watch old videos of how close they all were and how it ended with hurt and hard feelings on both sides. I don't think they ever spoke to each other again which breaks my heart. Life is too short to hang onto all that anger. I love Perdida; I didn't think I would, but Jeff did an awesome job. He has some big shoes to fill and he stepped up. I absolutely love Scott, but they are all equally talented in their own right. I'll always be a die hard fan but I'll always miss his voice.❤😭💔💔

A great person aside from being a great musician as a whole. I enjoyed meeting Robert during his show with the "Kings Of Chaos" in Austin, TX in 2017. Such a humble person.
I didn't care for it much when I first heard it, when No. 4 came about I revisited Tiny Music and really got into it.

stp doesn't exist without Scott sad they lack decency and won't at least change the band's name
why you gotta be like that? they put all those years into the band and built the name together. just cuz Weiland fucked the whole thing up doesn't mean they can't continue to perform under the band name they created. they have kids to support - that's their lives - not yours
