Thanks man! I didn't use a chorus, just a light overdrive and some generous reverb. Otherwise I'm using a Fender Bassman amp/cam sim, which is a very clean warm tone when on its own. That's it!

@@tear728 A regular magnet would just attract the string towards it or just repel the string away from it. It would not cause the string to vibrate like an Ebow does. I imagine the Ebow has a small electromagnet inside which reverses its polarity many times per second in order to attract & repel the string repeatedly.
Actually it's more complicated then that because the electromagnet would have to oscillate at different frequencies depending on what note you're fretting. Heres a wikipedia article on it. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/EBow
