- Wrap it up. Deep condition it. Lay down baby hair. In this video, I'm sharing baby hair care tips that used to grow my oldest (who is featured on my channel) daughter's hair to hip length. I'll also show what I'm currently doing for her infant hair, and my realistic tips on how to grow baby hair. Of course, I'm not a trained hair professional. I'm just a mom who grew up with midback length curly hair, and what I've done to maintain my daughters' hip length curly hair. Beautifulness! Her holding onto your hair at the end. Blessed sweetness 😪

Heavenly 🥰
When my baby was born, she had a head full of wavy hair. So i just left it alone. I started doing it after a few months but she still sits now.
I'm still waiting to see her awake in a video!! 😍
You’re baby looks like my 7 week old. Same exact curl pattern too.
Beautiful Baby 😍😍 😍❤️
So I’m wondering. My daughter has very dry hair and I’m afraid length retention is going to be an issue. Some of it in the back SEEMS shorter. Compared to the rest but not really. Like I can’t tell if it’s her not retaining length (however it has definitely been steadily getting longer) but I’ve always used water but instead I used olive oil on her hair! Now that she’s older (she’s about to be 10 months) I use a hair mask AND a leave in when I wash her hair because it’s just THAT dry. But the two days later it is just as dry. Should I be doing the water and oil thing DAILY? Is that where I may be going wrong?
You'll honestly have to experiment. It can be frustrating with curly hair, especially at such a young age because there's so much uncertainty. Mariah just turned one, and her hair is still super dry (though it filled in significantly), but now only in the back where she turned her head down to her nape. The good thing is, her hair will figure itself out as she ages so you can easily "correct" any dryness should it continue when she's older. I mainly use water on Mariah's hair now, but I am going to try aloe vera on her hair to see how it takes with her curls. I would only do what you're comfortable with for me, but also try not to worry just because she's so young. I would continue to brush it everyday (with a soft brush), and if you're concerned with her hair looking "off" when you go out, there are super cute baby hats/bonnets on etsy. Mariah won't keep them on, so I usually always have a bow on her that helps to mask her dry hair in the back. Not sure if any of this is helpful...but I hope so!
Victoria Vaden awe thanks. I’m afraid of hat hair ;-; but I’ll go online and order her some new things! I ordered her some mixed kids conditioner so that’s something new to try. I just wish her hair wouldn’t always look so dry 🥺 I’ll try the hat thing though! Tysm!
Did you say Whodunnit?? 😂😂😭😭😭😭
So do you do this everyday? I have only been doing my babys hair but only when she takes a bath.
For the most part, yes so her hair is trained and manageable as it grows. It also helps her get use to getting her hair styled.
@@VictoriaVaden do you do oil everytime or just water?
