- Today I'm showing you 10 easy, beginner-friendly hairstyles for mixed hair. These are SUPER easy mixed race hairstyles that are my go-to if I'm not feeling very creative. These easy toddler hairstyles are quick and give you some versatility to be able to style your child's mixed race hair.
My daughter has mixed hair, brown with natural blonde highlights (my husband is half German). I only just discovered a water spritz bottle for my daughters hair, after months of slathering it with just Shea leave in conditioner. Now I do combination of the two. The water alone has been a life saver. She's 4 years old and I'm just starting to learn about this now. I've also finally learned how to use a detangling brush without hurting her. Continuing to learn!

@@VictoriaVaden it is definitely not offensive. It's real life struggle here lol. I usually have to get her nanny or her cousin do her hair because I really gave up and was doing the simple pony everyday. Also my 2 yr old does not let me take time on her hair unless she is occupied by a phone. So no worries... in this day and time your always going to have that one person to find something offensive in some way.

First off, she is adorable and you are a great mom! Single mom here, this video helped me to trust myself because I’ve been finding that water and conditioner work best with my baby’s hair but her being my first baby and a single mom, as her hair is growing I started to question if I was doing things right -this tells me I was, I just need to educate myself on styles and I loved these, thank you so much!

My granddaughter has similar hair. I have found that a Denman brush works great to clear out her hair. I only use a comb to part it.
Yes, I usually include that in the description box (not sure which video I referenced it in at this point lol). That's my favoriteeee brush for her and myself. I did the same thing when I went natural (the first time on youtube). I never used a brush on my hair.

No...I was offended at all. And I did the centre part, 2 ponytails with 3 twists each and everyone thought it was adorable. I made them into the space buns for daycare cause a younger kid pulls my daughter's hair. Your videos have given me the courage lol

What brush do you recommend? I use a detangling brush, comb and edge comb but need to know a tug bristle brush that you’re using to keep it crisp
I always try to use boar bristle brushes, denman and detangling. I always buy my brushes from the local hair store so I can get a feel for them in store to know what works best.
