- Here's how I wash and style my daughter's long curly hair so that it lasts all week long--a time-saving must for busy moms! Four-year old Ziya's hair is getting so long, and because it's curly, very prone to tangles and matting, but this doesn't mean her weekly wash day routine has to be difficult. In this video I'm showing you the easiest way I've found to detangle, wash, and style her hair.

My aunt asked me to take care of my African American cousins for a couple of months but didn't tell me how to care for their hair so I thought I could use my kids routine on their hair luckily my friend was over and after i washed the youngest hair said you cant treat her hair like yours and walked me through how to properly wash their hair.this video is great for people who don't have anyone to help them out

Thank you for putting Ziya crying during her hair take down. My daughter does a little when I take her hair down or detangle and I felt I was doing something wrong, even tho I am gentle. The realness is appreciated!!!
I remember when my mom was doing my hair as a kid and she literally suffer because I would make faces , complain or cry a little, even though she was really gentle, I believe it’s normal for kids to complain a little in this process but if it’s done with love nothing bad should really happen ❤️ no need to be hard on yourself

My hair is straight and thin, I'm an adult, I barely can't make a simple braid on myself and when I ask my mom to make me one I cry a bit because there's a point in the beginning that hurts, I feel bad when it's a little kid. Ziya has such a beautiful hair but I understand that it's hard for her when I'm a freaking thin straight hair adult.

When I was little my mum who's white didn't have a clue what to do with my hair. Back in them days there was no wetting the hair before combing it so you can only imagine the struggles lol. The only product that was applied to my hair was olive oil and she would give me ponytails every 2 days. My hair grew with that one product but I did not like having my hair done by her! My sister who was a trainee hairdresser at the time would do my hair for me when she had time and she'd do it perfectly and would show our mum how to comb my hair but she never listened lol. How times have changed lol. Your daughter has the most beautiful hair and she's lucky her mummy knows what she's doing 😂😂😂😂. Funny thing is, whenever I visit my mum who doesn't live in the same city (state) as me, I always do her hair as she has curly hair too and she is always surprised how her hair comes out 😂. I even defuse it for her lol.

Denise S my mom is white and my half sister is half african. My mom had no clue what to do with my sisters hair. Her hair would just become dreadlocks.. hahaha. When it got bad, my mom just cut it all of lol!! Now my sister is 13 and she has beautiful curly hair, she takes care of it herself
@@yaeltuttebel when I was about 10, I caught lice. I was at school and made friends with a gypsy girl who no one wanted to be friends with. One day in lesson, she or I dropped a pen on the floor and we both bent down to pick it up. That's how I caught them! I went home after school was finished and my mum noticed I was scratching my head. She looked and saw the lice. INSTEAD of treating them she chopped all my hair off, roughly may I add lol. It was an afro but somehow she managed to cut more off at the back of my hair and so I had a bald patch 😕 I was in school the next day and was laughed at 😂😂. I was not happy at all. When my big sister came round she went mad at mum asking her why she didn't get the shampoo, lice comb and treat it! My hair before the cut was long, literally down to just above my waist so you can only imagine!!!! It grew back but that wasn't the point 😂😂😂😂. I'm glad to hear your sister now takes care of her own hair 😂. What part of Africa is your sister from orshouldIsayherdadfrom? I'm half Ghanaian, mum is half French and half Irish! ❤

Lemme just say this was super helpful. I’m 9 and I learned to wash my hair in a downward motion, because even though my hair is straight, when I was younger my hair would be tangled all the time but now I shampoo in a downward motion, follow with my super helpful detangeler, and, the feta glueing is practically done for me.
