- This video is a highly requested tutorial and talk-through of Mya (my daughter's) mixed curly hair wash day and styling routine. I discuss which products I use on a regular basis and those I had while filming this video.
My daughter has mixed curly hair (my husband is half white) and her hair is light brown with natural blonde highlights. She has a small "dry" section at the base of her head that I've been working on since she was born. Otherwise, all of the products I use on her hair are listed below!

I have a mixed race daughter and i struggle so badly. Physically combing her hair is difficult and emotionally i find myself comparing her limited growth to other mixed kids hair length. I know it isn't healthy but I'm so at a lost. She is 3 years and she recently cut off a huge section of her hair and i can't stop crying. I'm just so overwhelmed with her hair. Thank you for this video...
OMG I am so sorry to hear that! I just posted a new video today and talked about hair growth. I think I have one in my mixed hair playlist as well (at least for newborns). If it makes you feel any better, my older sister let someone else cut her hair when she was 10. My mom was livid. I talked about it on my instagram a month ago that I chopped my hair off because I found Mya trying to get the scissors to cut her hair after being teased. I big chopped so she knew I also had curly hair and she loves her curls now. Unfortunately, all kids go through it (to some extent), but what matters is how you emotionally respond and redirect her when she feels like her curls arent beautiful. I'm pregnant and we are having a mixt child I only just realised that I have to do her hair if it's a girl

@@VictoriaVaden Lucky for me I have 0 pregnancy symptoms. My belly is still as flat as a pancake. I'm hoping to start showing soon and hopefully start feeling my angel kick. Because at this point in time I don't feel pregnant at all. I just know that I'm pregnant. And we have seen our beautiful angel on the scan and I have taken multiple pregnancy test just to keep myself knowing that I'm finally pregnant.

What do you use on her edges and how long with this hair style last
That's my next video topic actually, but it ranges because I have about 5 products that I rotate between, and it depends on the hairstyle I'm doing. One in particular that I just ran out of is called Edge Booster by Style Factor (the green one smells amazing!).

How often do you wash her hair?
About once a week, but definitely no more than 10 days. I still let her hair tell me when it needs to be washed.
