- This time we're a Gloomstalker Assassin, and on Honour mode we've only got one life. The plan: assassinate everyone before they realize we're here and fight our way through three grueling acts.
This took a long while to make since I wanted to beat Honour mode before making a video incase I died along the way, We did it though! And I hope you tag along for the journey.

There’s a 0.017% chance to fail a 58% chance shove 10 times in a row.
so a fun little tip, you can actually use any antidote to cure the gnome and get the boots, you don't need to get one for the deugar
Yaya, I usually use an elixir of sylvanus but i figured id try for it
@@Pheeon the duergar antidote gives you resistance to poison for 10 rounds which is very useful against Auntie Ethel if you're relying on an elixir of hill giant strength (if you're not duergar anyway)

I always have shadowheart cast lesser restoration on her
I usually play paladin and just lay on hands
this video taught me more about how i should look at archery builds, and that i should look at my bonus actions are more than just an additional shot from hand crossbows
I'd also like to point out using the titanstring bow with the club of hill giant strength as your melee weapon. so you can maximize dex, and save time on those strength pots
Yknow what? I completely forgot to even go there lol. They also nerfed handcrossbows some patch ago, the off hand no longer adds your modifier.

This game baffles me sometimes. I hit 6x Nat 1 critical misses in a row in combat. Had to record it and check the combat log as thought I was tripping. All 6 attacks were over 80% hit chance but Nat 1 you know! 😂

Nice , i rocked this set up and the movement is brilliant, now where is part 2 bro ski? I like to have a little bit of insight before I run into act 2 . Lonewolf is the way to go for me gearing up 2 many classes and trying to perfect them all at once is too much for me, I will stick with solo play until I beat the game. I play on balanced , tho i feel by the way i went through your script that i could possibly run first act on tactician not honor mode.New to this style of turn based strategy gameplay but it was very challenging and fun. I managed 10 min into the video before i felt i had to do this myself because the video is so fricking good. And i just don't want any spoilers to the Dark Urge story. But in your estimation how difficult was it? Now i'm gonna check out your other videos while i go into character creation again for the infinite time.
It was more stressful than difficult. I recommend you check out my boss changes vid to see the new legendary actions! As long as you're aware of them and play carefully you'll be alright :)
Started my own run of this bc it looked fun, up to now (part way through act 2) the only fight I had any issues with were the lava elemental and Grym. In the lava elemental fight I just forgot arrows of Laudenger prevent healing and for Grym I was avoiding using the hammer

Hey! I'm using it just as a back up since we tend to kill enemies in one round. And if we don't I'd much rather have the 23 AC. The stealth doesn't matter as much later on since we have our invisibility sources

I completed solo honor run with the almost same build a couple days ago It's super fun. And you probably already know but the highest damage u can get with this build is with bhaalist armor in act 3 + crossbow expert feat . You literally destroy everything that doesnt have piercing resistance.
They did sadly nerf hand crossbows :c Now its a bit more of a tossup, and Im too lazy to calculate which one is statistically best so i just used both lol
the move with the crates to jump out of the barrel romm was funnier than it should have been
I solve practical problems
Grab the branding amulet and a special arrow vs an enemy type if you want to just delete something for 200 damage in a single hit.

The off hand crosbow also gets the 10 damage bonus from sharp shooter so its better damage to dual wield the crossbows
Eh the titanstring bow does an extra +5 to its damage and I get to keep my bonus action, which I can use to hide and get advantage to actually hit the -5 to hit.

While that trick for buying things for 1 gold is patched, there is a different trick you can do with the same process. Just leave a container in a merchant's inventory, one that you are planning to kill (good playthroughs would kill ethel and the goblin merchant for example), and put everything you care about into that container. It restocks all of the non 1 time sale items every day and you can just keep shoving stuff in there until you decide to kill them
Better version: donate them tons of stuff, put it all in bag, they will love you. draw them away with minor illusion or performance, and knock them out. Knocking them out only loses like 15-20% if that approval so you would still be at +80.
You can make infinite gold by putting a companion in wild shape and trying to sell their equipped armor, it gives you the money but you keep the item.
I feel like there's no better place than here for me to put forward the idea of completing BG3 completely undetected, or barring that, being detected as little as possible.
That is surely going to have to be the plan if I ever try pacifist, or atleast minimum kills
I personally prefer a more lethal stealth approach, but when needs must I suppose...
you can take control of laezel and shadowheart on the nautiloid and make them jump off instead of shoving or killing them
But the urge calls..

I didn't stream the rest of the run :× It was mostly played over Winter Break where I paradoxically didn't have a lot of time, but gradually I finished!

So wait, how did you pickpocket that antidote? If you missed it first time, didnt you reload after? I mean, thats not possible in honour
5:30 after the jump you failed the survival check but got the chest anyways thanks to editing magic. Did you reload for that or is there another way to get it after a failed check?
You can use your shovel anywhere theres a dig spot, even if you fail the check!
As long as you know where the chests are, if you dig anywhere close to them, they will pop up. Just "use dig" on a shovel in your inventory, and then target the spot where the chest is supposed to be.

I think they've changed the hand cross bow to a heavy cross bow in Dammons inventory. As of 1.26, it's a two handed CB

I forgot about them too during a bard run, restarted on a bard drow because I noticed I didn’t have longbow proficiency after grabbing the titan string bow. On my new wood elf bard I noticed these archery gloves give the ability to use longbows
U should get phalar aluve and instead of sharpshooter get duel wielder bc consistency is better than damage in honour mode and equip knife of the underground mountain in ur off hand
Didn’t know we can dip the weapons on poison and on candles 😮
I was thinking of a similar build, but go 5 gloom 3 assassin 3 paladin 1 war/light cleric. Totals out where you would have lvl 3 spells for smites, which would crit with assassin.
Ooh! I like that idea, that would be a fun one to try out.
Doesn't smite only work for melee? Unless its banishing smite

Yeah this build was designed to be lean more assassin than ranger even though it cuts off at 3 rogue since rogue levels past 4 are meh. essentially super single target assassinations, you would still have enough movement and stuff using your bonus action to dash to get to multiple. @@jpdevera9360
1 Feat is pretty rough though. I'd honestly take Paladin to 4 just for the feat, and due to how odd levels in half-casting classes contribute to your final caster level will be the same as with the cleric level (losing Warding Flare is a bummer). You could drop Paladin to 2 and up Rogue to 4, but Vow of Enmity is great on a Sharpshooter or Great Weapon Master build. Abjure Enemy is really good too, but you won't have the stats for a decent save DC.

How did you re-roll the survival check for chest @ 5:32?
I had just dug where the chest was supposed to be, you can dig it up without the check!

Yup! You can use it without any checks
After they patched the container trick they realised they forgot to change the pickpocket roll needed for a container based on the contents. That's now been fixed too but you could previously pickpocket everything in it for the DC of just the container.
It still kinda works. The DC is now capped at 17 so with a stealth build you can rob them with not a lot of effort

@@Pheeon I am doing my own Honor Mode Run right now and I must warn you NEVER underestimate Cazadore! HadI use 5 Sun beam Scrolls because I didnt have dayligth as a spell... Anyways it still worked Out although everyone besides my MC died

I wanna know how people feel about honour mode and its meaning.
Is it
A: A test of our knowledge, creativity, and skills to complete the game.
B: A test of our knowledge of the game and its flaws to exploit the system.
Personally I feel it’s a bit of a combo between the two, but mostly A. Just because you can technically “complete” the game in 15 minute if you speed run it. Luckily this route doesn’t count as completing honour mode.
I feel like it's a bit of both, when ludicrous mode comes out I'm sure that'll be more of a 'B'

I've finished plenty! I just like to have several runs going at once for diversity. Jack act 3 coming next! The drunk only mod is currently busted so that's on hold

idk man, in honor mode when you are vs fat stats, a fragile assassin without consistent dmg or sustain will just get rolled if the wind blows the wrong way

I'll be going more of a ranged approach so I like this more, but college of swords is fun if you take a melee approach

I just have the blood of lathander on for the most part, they nerfed elixirs of bloodlust and I'd much rather have the blind and sunbeam for act 2

Wich is aproximetely 0.1969 wich represents 19.69%. You were very unlucky.
