🔥 Frequently Asked Questions:
Do you have a left handed version of this video? If you are left handed, you can convert ANY video on CZcams yourself! Simply go to www.mirrorthevideo.com/ and follow the instructions to mirror flip any video to convert to left handed!
How much yarn will I need? This is a very tricky question to answer as there are so many variables! How much yarn you need will depend on which yarn you choose, the thickness of that yarn, your tension and how large you want your finished project to be. I suggest making a small sample first so you can gauge how much yarn you'll need. If making a crochet square, you can weigh your finished square to work out how much yarn it used!
How many squares do I need for a blanket? That all depends on the size of the square you are making and how big you want your finished blanket to be! I always advise making one square first then measuring the size of it. From there you can work out how many squares you will need to get the blanket size you want 😀
Do you have the written pattern? Yes! I have written patterns to accompany my video tutorials on my website here: www.hookedbyrobin.com The written pattern is generally released a week or so after the video tutorial to ensure there are no errors in the video itself and to make amendments in the written version if any are found. All the written patterns are FREE to access on my website
How can I print the pattern from your website? Do you have downloadable PDF's? Not at this time no. This may change in the future but for now, I only provide the written pattern directly on my website.
Can you remake this video so it is slower? If the video speed is too fast, you can slow it down! 😀 See this video on exactly how: • How to Adjust the Spee...
Why do you use American stitch terminology? I learnt using USA stitch terms, long before I even knew there was a difference between UK & US terminology! American terms are my "first language" so to speak. If you need a conversion chart, I have one here! www.hookedbyrobin.com/crochet...

I LOVE this shawl, Robin! It's so pretty & easy to do. I'm in a rehab center for my hip & making one to wrap myself in. Thank you for such a nice pattern/project. ☺😉🤗

This is beautiful and perfect for beginners! Before I watched this video I literally only knew the single crochet stitch, I went and watched your magic loop one and a double crochet one and came back to follow along and its mind bogglingly easy!! Thank you for a wonderful video for something cozy and simple!💕
I must have watched 15-20 videos on how to make this particular item. Finally I stumbled upon yours. Beyond simple but so beautiful. Thank you!! You got a subscriber for life.
Robin , you are the best! I already started making this shawl for my daughter. I watched endless videos looking for one which is not complicated and still pretty. This video of yours is like my dream come true. Cannot thank you enough.
This shawl is absolutely gorgeous and SO easy to work up! Thank you so much for such an amazing tutorial. Now I have a great pattern for all of my Caron Cakes! Your nails are amazing, BTW!!! 💙

That yard is beautiful! I Love the colors!!
Well, here I am crocheting yet another one of your beautiful shawls. I am working this one up in "Feels like Butta" in the color way of Dusty Blue. This is going to be the softest and coziest of all of them. I think I have made about 10 of your granny and solid granny shawls. I love them all. I made one HUGE one with 3 large skeins and it is almost like a blanket. I can't wait for cooler weather to sit by the fire wrapped up in my shawls. Thank you so much, your granny shawl was the very first thing I learned to crochet and there is no stopping me now.
omg i wanna get some of that yarn is it nice to work with??

Beautiful ❤️
Pretty!!
Lovely thank you for this tutorial. 👍🏻😍🤗
You are very welcome! 😄
Thank you! This will be perfect for the Prayer Shawl I am making for a friend. My yarn is a 3, so a solid fabric will make up for the thinness..
I want to make one with a heavier yarn...
I see you are using a Clover H-8 hook. I love my Clover hooks. They are so comfortable in my hand. The best part is that each size has it’s very own color. Thus us a huge help for those of us who are visually impaired.
A tip... Rsje a picture if your project, with the hook you are using right on top of it.. That way, you will never have to worry about forgetting what size you are using...
thanks for the tutorial!!
You're very welcome!
Hi Robin!!! I enjoyed this tutorial very much!!! Your manicure is so beautiful and not a distraction as some said. I focused more on the pattern instead of your nails.
