I think this might actually the very first youtube video that ACTUALLY shows how to get the old one out. Mine has been sidelined for a while because I couldn't get it out once it was all unbolted. I think the oil filter assembly removal might be the key I was looking for. All the other videos I've seen so far say "there it is" then they unbolt it and then jump cut to the new one being installed.
Why do you cut the part out that shows you put the alternator back in? The install is the biggest part of installing something, and you just cut it out.

Why not just remove the lower transmission mount bolt then pivot the engine back? I used a ratchet strap it made it roll back enough
