Is this a TLM or a NO mass in Latin? I havent attended yet a pontifical TLM. One thing I noticed here is the absence of altar cards
Clearcreek Abbey uses the Extraordinary Mass and Office. It's not beneficial for monastaries to use the Ordinary Form of the Office because Prime is absent and the Psalms of the day can only be said for either just one of Terce, Sext, or None, leaving the other 2 to be the same Psalms of Ascent every day - not entirely the best layout for monastics. Thus they also use the Extraordinary Mass to go along with it. They offer Low Mass earlier in the morning and High Mass around 11:45am
The traditional Mass is so much more reverent. Who is the cleric in the purple cassock? He looks identical to Bishop Morrison of the Anglican Province of Christ the King. They have a church in Tulsa.
I can't imagine th monks would let an anglican hedge priest enter the premises.
I think its the local bishop. Its not uncommon for the local bishop to travel with a visiting cardinal in his territory
