Féileacáin (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Association of Ireland - SANDAI) was formed in 2009 and subsequently registered as a charity in 2010 ( CHY - 19635). Feileacain was formed by a group of bereaved parents to offer support to anyone affected by the death of a baby around the time of birth, and the organisation is now the national charity supporting families affected by perinatal loss. Feileacain is a volunteer led organisation and receives no funding from central government, relying instead on the support of our community and the families who avail of our services.

Mental State: I don't own near enough bikes.
#itsover #goodbye #ireland #usa
I moved to Canada 15 years ago, from Wales. Best thing I ever did. It opens your mind so much, gets you out of the local goldfish bowl that we live in, and wish you the best of luck. It won’t be easy, and the early years can be tough, just try to get through them and also try to get a good work/life balance. Explore America, enjoy your time off, meet new people and make new life long friends. Hopefully you’ll keep us updated. ✌️
Honestly it's mad refreshing to talk to so many people who've already made a move like it, listening to people who never have they'd have you half convinced it's a bad idea, glad I ignored them :P Yeah for sure it'll be tough for a while, I'm a bit of a goat tho so I think I'll be ok, and nothing has ever phased herself yet :) I will definitely be keeping ye updated!
It has been a minute, congrats!!! Like you said it's crazy everywhere glad you didn't let the crazyiness stop you from pulling the trigger on your move. Excited to see what future bikes make it your way. Yeah, housing here in CO is gone insane the last couple of years. I couldn't afford to buy my house now. A garage is the most important part, 100%. Yup, down sides to everything. Congrats on 1mil views that is an amazing achievement.
Haha I think you're one of the first non family people I told too, so you KNOW how damn long :D Ah you can focus on bad stuff and never do anything or roll those dice eh :) I'm strongly considering a brand new KLR for my daily bike, not exciting but can just be my van :D It seems to have absolutely everywhere, hopefully it eventually calms down a bit! Good thing you already have it eh :) Garage is life.
Thanks man, it's pretty crazy to see that number there.
@@TheGorillaBiker KLR is a great choice, solid bike, been around forever, tons of aftermarket I think they have a pretty big following on the internets so big knowledge base out there plus you can go OFFROAD with it, new kinds of adventures!! Suzuki also has the DRZ, same deal just burns a slightly different rice. Oh there I go again, offending people....LOL Plus, I would imagine the KLR and DRZ have high seat heights that would probably make a certain Gorilla I know very comfy!
All the best to you both on your new life ahead. You replied to me when I had my accident on my CBF almost a year ago now and unfortunately it got written off to which I was devastated. But your channel has kept my love of the CBF alive over the last year so I thank you for that. again good luck to you both.
Thank you! Yes I remember! I hope you've healed up well? No thank you for the messages at the time and for watching :)
Surprised but really pleased for you. Will miss this channel. Very best of luck.
Surprised why? :) And thanks! The channel isn't going anywhere might just be down for a month or so :)
Good luck mate. It's a shame I won't get to meet you in person now. All the best. I'm looking forward to seeing the vlogs from across the pond
Thanks bud. It is indeed. Like I said there was a load of ye I was really looking forward to meet. Even if paddy outback visits home now I'll be gutted to miss it. But sure look, that's the way some things go eh.
Thanks man, really looking forward to making them :)
Good luck with the move.
My parents did the same, only we moved to Australia, when I was three years old.
Who knows what I missed out on, but I think it was the best decision my parents ever made.
Thanks! So far so good anyway :)
Ah Australia was another place we had as an option to move to!
Ah look can't look at that stuff too hard, I know I'm missing a lot at home but have to roll the dice too eh. Glad it worked out for them and you :)
Congratulations to both of you 👍🏼
Thanks man :)
Best of luck to you a great opportunity at your stage of life. Soaked it up and enjoy
Thanks very much John! Can't wait to go now :)
Wooo thats Awesome. Just did my trip right around lower west central states. Loved it.
It is indeed, can't wait now :) Ah nice!
Absolutely delighted for the both of you. It'll be heading into fall time and the colours of the trees will be beautiful. The snow will be a new experience. Best of luck with this new chapter in your lives and looking forward to seeing videos whenever you get settled.
Thanks Gene! Yeah I was hoping to get one last Irish "summer" before I went so it worked out 😁 Ah I've seen and dealt with loads of snow in Germany, I'm not a fan 😂 But I know it doesn't get half as bad where I'll be as it was in Germany so all is good 😂 Hopefully won't be too long! :)
And so the secret is revealed . . . The start of an awfully big adventure. Don't forget to enjoy it all. There will be hassles ahead but that has to be part of the fun.... Good luck to you both. I await your rambling from Stateside with eager anticipation ..... 🇮🇪🇺🇸🗽🌞🎉🎊🏍
Haha finally out in the open, I'm terrible at keeping secrets so I'm amazed at myself I managed to hold my water. I will certainly be enjoying it as much as I possibly can :)
Ah hassle is a part of life, no big deal unless it terminal eh :) Thanks Stephen, and thanks for the chats and support over the years, very much enjoyed them.
Haha I'll get them going asap.
Best of luck on your new adventure! 🙂
Thanks Spicy :)
Wow! Big news indeed! Just back last week from a week's trip to New York so I can understand your decision on wanting to go. Amazing place and I found everyone I met to be extremely friendly! Wishing you both the very best of luck in this next stage of life and please keep the channel going. It would be nice to see periodic videos of your adjustment to life and the buying of your next bike!! Best of luck mate!
Mad news! Was weird making the video! :) Ah it's a great spot, too many people in New York for me but it's a very cool place to visit too :) I've honestly gotten on with everyone I've met over there. Thanks bud! Oh the channel will be going full speed once I'm settled, I'll still be doing the 2 a week again when I can :)
Congratulations to you and Toaster. As one ex-pat to a future one I wish you all the best. When I left Ireland it was purely economic. Ireland's economy was in the tank. 33% of the jobs in my industry disappeared overnight. I can't look back and say what if. No point. My kids are Canadian I'm Canadian. But I will say the grass is not always greener. I think you have to do what you think is right for you both. I'll wish you all the luck in the world. It so happens my wife and I just returned an hour ago from visiting family in Maryland.
Good luck to you both. It looks like we may get to ride sooner rather than later.👍
Thanks Ian!! I won't lie, a huge part of why I even considered it is economic, we could possibly actually own a house in the next year or two over in North Carolina. Here....not a chance. And I hate renting, especially here as houses are in the main poorly kept.
Yeah 100% you've made the absolute best of the hand you were dealt and I have a huge amount of respect for that tbh, too many just lie down when stuff like that happens and half give up.
The grass is yellow to me :D Obviously pros and cons to absolutely everything. I love Ireland as a place and the people. There are the obvious issues I won't go in to.
Thanks again for the well wishes Ian, honestly blown away by the reaction to this video! Ah very good, haha we absolutely will :)
Amazing, very cool news.
I fully expect you to wear the TOMSTC tshirt and point at the logo awkwardly as you walk around 😉
It is indeed :)
Haha of course :D
Best of luck on your new adventure and I hope you can get back doing more videos when you get settled in over there,😉👍🏍🏍
Thanks bud :) Oh I'll definitely be making videos again once I'm all settled! :)
Thats awesome news, I live in Canada and only 45 kms to the US border. I just love the US and really have a great time everytime I visit. North Carolina is such a beautiful state, from the coast to the mountains. Some of the best roads for motorcycles. folks are wonderful there too. Good luck.
So far so good anyway! It is also a beautiful state for sure, the blend of mountains and coast is pretty tasty! Thanks!
@@TheGorillaBiker Went last October with my son to do some great riding. Im going to make it an annual trip I think.
If your gonna land anywhere, NC is a great place. Maybe we shall cross paths one day on those great roads. Cheers and ride safe.
I'm certainly not disappointed this is where I ended up, I'd rather eventually move towards the mountains though :) Let me know if you end up this way again! You too!!
Delighted for you guys. Big adventures ahead and so many roads to drive and explore. Really looking forward to the US content that will be coming down the line
Thanks Kaz. Many roads, and there'll surely be a spare bike for you there if you ever get across and free accomodation ;) Me too :D
Straight swap- gtr for the gixer or cbf (I don't mind which) Gtr = older bike, no import issues, massive ready made gtr/ concours community stateside ready to welcome you. 🤔 and I believe my gtr is in the best condition it has ever been in, working brakes and everything.
That'll be a solid no :D The CBF is for sale tho, I'll do you a deal all luggage and such included :) Hahahaha it still needs the forks done :P
Good luck bro and a million thanks for your great video's, gonna miss you!
Thanks Keith! Ah I'll be back up and running hopefully in a month or two max the videos will still be coming :) Thanks for commenting tho, always good to hear from people who enjoyed them :)
Congrats dude, this is great!
September is coming up fast
Thanks bud!! Yes it bloody is :D
Congrats on the upcoming changes!
I don't envy the effort & work involved with a big move and resettle, but North Carolina is in a nice area, and I hope you enjoy yourself. :)
Thank you sir!
Haha yeah that level of effort for moving will be miserable but it'll be worth it. I'm sure I will :)
Best of luck buddy I'll miss your vlogs on Irish roads you where a big part of me going back on two wheels after 20plus year I really do hope you can keep your channel going
I'll miss making them without a doubt, I still firmly believe it's one of the best biking countries in the world :) Ah well that's really cool to hear, welcome back!! Oh the channel will be going don't worry about that, just might be a delay since I have to get a new bike etc!
Exciting times, congratulations on your big move. I hope you continue creating content once you've settled in America but either way I wish you and toaster all the best for the future and I hope this move turns out to be all you hope it will be.
Thanks Mike! I will, can't imagine any reason I'd stop tbh I love doing it! Thanks :)
We be glad to have y’all over here. North Carolina is a good place. A lot of folks from New Jersey and New York are moving there and driving up the property value.
A lot of motorcycle roads there. Blue Ridge park way, the Dragon and many more.
Thanks man :) Yeah I really liked it when I was there last year :) Ahhhhhh is that part of it, that's a pity. Rich people have been at the same thing here in Ireland too. Ruins it for everyone who is actual local then. Not that I'd be local trying to buy a house in NC :D
Yes indeed, can't wait to try them all!
@@TheGorillaBiker yeah I forgot you get here and you can go out and shoot guns. And if you come to Kentucky I’ll take you to knob hill outside of Louisville where we can shoot lot of guns ( mini gun )
Haha I've shot a few guns in my time but never a mini gun :D
That's huge news! 🥳 Best of luck in those new pastures.
Thanks bud :)
All the best for your new life in America, please keep us posted on things through your channel and I'm sure we are all keen to hear how you get on and what your next biking steps are. Safe journey 👍
Thanks :) Oh I certainly will! I need to make another video to explain that I think a lot, I'll definitely keep recording stuff, might just be a month or so until I can edit and upload them :) Thanks!
@@TheGorillaBiker great, thanks. I'm sure some none bike uploads would go down well and maybe some trips to dealers as you look for and purchase a bike would go down well? I think it would be interesting to see and compare with viewers experiences in their own countries.
We'll see, I'm actually terrible at sitting down and editing anything that doesn't have a bike in it :D But I'll do my best that'd be interesting for me as well maybe. Yeah visits to dealers I was definitely going to do :)
Excited to have you over here. Let me know when you're settled and ready to visit the southwest.
I'm excited to get there :) I will do man, and we need to get you over my way too!
Amazing news for you, congratulations! I’m a newer viewer of your channel, having learned of it when you did some videos with Hippo-Drones. I’ve never been further south than Virginia on the east coast, but my understanding is that the Carolinas are beautiful. The timing is a little rough, with inflation being a major factor right now, but I suppose that is everywhere. I wish you all the best with the move, and hope the immigration process goes smoothly. I’m Canadian myself, and have been living in the US for over 25 years now. Just subscribed to the channel, and look forward to hearing more of your adventures coming here. All countries have negatives, but this is still a great place with loads of opportunities and experiences to be had.
Thank you! :) Ah very good, Pete is a legend and thanks for coming over for a look :) I've been to North Carolina last year for 3 weeks for work, it really is a pretty spot. And that was the hottest time of year too, which I found fine. HOT, but doable and I'd imagine I'll only get more used to it.
Yeah timing is rough enough, but yeah...Ireland is pretty expensive at the best of times and a hell of a lot worse right now! I'm all good, visas etc done and dusted :) Ah very good! You obviously like it so :)
Thanks! :) I'll keep everyone as updated as I can :) Exactly, nowhere is perfect and in fairness the US does have a lot more opportunities for stuff than here anyway! Can't wait now :)
Wow that is BIG news. Carol and I wish you both the very best of luck in your new job/country and life.
Excited for you.....
Cheers
Haha it's been eating at me for so long wanting to tell ye all. Well thank you to you both, I was really hoping to visit the UK in the last few years more and visit you all but the lovely C word ruined that, not too worry I am sure I'll be back and if you ever visit the US and want to go for a spin let me know :)
Thanks bud :)
@@TheGorillaBiker Love the US, you never know we may make it over.
Loads of stuff we want to do and see. Got to do it before we get too old and decrepit!
Cheers and take care.
If you do let me know!! :) Haha well the two of ye certainly are making a go of it, and fair play. I love seeing it all :)
You too, to the both of you :)
Best of luck on yer new adventures. It's hard to let go sometimes. I'd love a different bike, but can't let go of my current bike. Have had too many good times on it. I've followed you for yrs now and have always looked forward to your little adventures. Looking forward to your new ones now. Safe travels to yourself and Toaster 🏍️⛽☕
It was very difficult tbh, but worth it in the end I hope :) Ah I was the same for years with the FZ6, and I still miss it :D Thanks man, I am glad you like them and have stuck with me :) Thanks bud :)
pretty cool news. ive had a couple Raiders... definitely recommend them. they are a great fit for bigger guys. tons of torque. Ivans tune transforms the bike. .. Congrats on the move.. you gonna love it!
I'd love one at some point, currently eyeing up a Victory Highball also. Thanks! Loving it so far, been here 2 months now :)
@@TheGorillaBiker ive owned a Vegas and a Hammer. Raider is faster and better build quality.. IMO..
Wish you and Toaster all the very best in the States. Hope to see you carry on making videos there too. Good luck Michael😀😃
Thanks Colin! I'll definitely be keeping making videos :)
All the very best to you both on your new mega adventure. Nothing ventured nothing gained. Wish you a successful and happy future in your new home. Keep the vids coming. And safe travels to you .
Thanks John! :) Haha I said the same thing in a comment to someone else here, words to live by really! It's easy stay put and stay comfortable but sure look, we'll give it a shot!
Thanks again!! I will indeed, just have to sort a bike :) Gracias bud!
I'm sorry I didn't move their 40yrs ago. Too late now. A great decision for ye both and good luck with the future.
Ah it's never too too late! You could always go somewhere. :) Thanks very much, really looking forward to it now :)
Awesome news GB, hope the heat over there isn’t to bad for you 🏝 😀🍺
Thanks G, haha I'll be happy to give heat and sunshine a shot for a while :)
All the best with the big move man. You’ll have a ball.
Thanks bud, and there'll be a bike there for you to use if you ever want it!
Let me know what sort of meetup you'd like to see! I'm not a big fan of group rides so it'll probably be a meet somewhere nice and have some food kind of thing.

HUGE news indeed!!!!!!! Exciting times ahead and once the adulting is sorted just WOW. Choosing new bikes, new roads and destinations, new friends......... It is a brave decision for sure but passing up such an opportunity would be folly IMO, regret is corrosive in the extreme. Anyway I wish you and your good lady all the very, very best for the future and hopefully we'll be seeing some of your new biking exploits once you're settled in. Congratulations on it all. Cheers Andy.
Haha I'm actually loving how many people it's taken by surprise :) Yep, there'll be a mad amount of bike opportunities and such now, going to be pretty cool!
Ah brave, I dunno, just can't not do these things, and yes I do think regret is corrosive, I have a few so I tend to steer towards taking the shot even if it's a long one these days. Nothing ventured, nothing gained etc. Thanks Andy, there will be plenty of bike videos coming all things going well :)
Very happy for you, your gonna love it out there. I was based at Fort Bragg for a while in NC lovely area mate. It's a win win you get to go bike shopping👍👍😁
Thanks Jim :) Oh very good, that's actually great to hear :) Bike shopping will be very fun to be fair :P
You’ll be in a great area with loads of mountain rides easily accessible for a day trip. I’ll ride out and meet up when ya get here! Been planning on heading that way in the fall.
Yeah I've been looking, not far at all to get over after work Friday for a weekend of spins :) Ah thanks man that'd be really cool!! Drag John along with you!
Wishing you all the very best and hope the move and transition goes to plan for you both in September 😊👍
Definitely going to be better weather 😉
Will be great seeing you vlog in the states 👍
Thanks Scotty :) Haha the weather will be a huge plus for sure!!! It'll make making those vlogs a hell of a lot easier! :D
@@TheGorillaBiker Definitely 👍
What an exciting new challenge for you. Best of luck with your move to the US. Looking forward to seeing what bike you will be buying over there.
Are you putting the Magna in long term storage? There would be some interesting videos doing that.
It is indeed man :) Thank you kindly :) Yeah me too! We'll see what's in the price range and build from there :) Magna and GSXR yes, provided my Dad is ok with it I'll hide them in the back of the shed and drain them. Should be ok there as the temp never changes in there! :)
Glad to hear lad!! Will be a completely life changing, you won't be missing much here anyway haha. Big asking price now for the bikes featured on a million view channel 😉😂
Thanks bud, haha yeah a big change and I do think for the better overall. I'll let this place go on fire and sort itself out then I'll come back :P Haha yeah -20% since everyone knows the issues :P
Best of luck on yer new adventure wishing ye the best
Thanks :)
Moved to Spain mountains from Kerry last Feb with my Monster 1100...very happy and content with my decision. All the greatest luck to you and Toaster. TGB Abú!!! (PS when moving country and life, done it a few times...the first number of weeks are super exciting and fun, but naturally a while after the excitement dies down one or two of ye might get a bit homesick or sad/ anxious , was it right move? etc... persevere because it gets really positive a short time after again when properly settled after 3/4months give or take. Strange creatures with strange minds us humans. )
I want to end up in Spain tbh, that's the country I'd like to retire to(at 45ish). Beautiful place :) Glad it worked out for you :)

@@TheGorillaBikerWise choice... It's a dream here with a Moto...almost perfect. Good luck to ye!
Good luck to you both. Hope you keep the channel going for some USA adventures!!
Thank you! Oh absolutely I will be, just wanted to warn of downtime while I moved :) The channel is going nowhere :)
Oh mate so happy for you!! I wish you luck 🍀
Thanks buddy :) Really looking forward to it now :)
Good luck with the move hopefully it'll all go to plan.
Thanks John! The best part is there's barely a plan so it'll be grand :D
It's a great opportunity your right to take it while you're still young, you can always come back, you must be a little excited, I no I would , stay safe
Ah no matter the age I'd have went tbh, like I said I don't have any dependents or anything so it really is very easy to do. Oh I'm fit to burst with excitement tbh! :) Thanks, you too!
Can I come! I'd be happy to leave everything behind, apart from my animals, that would be the toughest thing for me. Looking forward to seeing the journey, hope it all goes to plan 👍
I'll squish you in to my suitcase :P Yeah Splat and Buu are going to be very hard to say goodbye to, not looking forward to that.
Thanks mate, I'll keep ye all as updated as I can.
@@TheGorillaBiker Break my arms and legs if needs be lol
:D We can rebuild you later :P
Wow! Huge news! IMO the bike culture is a little different in North America compared to Europe. Enjoy your new move! It'll be interesting to see what bike you buy in the US given you can't get a Biffer.
Ah sure look I'll jist be riding about looking at cool things and riding home as I already do. That'll be enough for me :)
I wouldn't have bought another cbf anyway tbh, fantastic bike but if I couldn't have brought Bertha with me I wouldn't want another 😂
Welcome, brother to the US.
Thanks Frank :)
Wishing you guys all the best on this new adventure. It will be a load of new content on moving and getting biking in the states.
Thanks Dylan! Yeah once I get the main bits sorted I'll be back up and running :)
@@TheGorillaBiker Fair play to the two of you taking a chance and trying to do something new. Like you said, you would regret not doing it.
Ah look in fairness not something you'd really expect either, I think most people would take the same shot we are :)
Wishing you and the Boss all the best, hope all goes well 👍😉
Ride Safe Mr B 🤘😎
Thanks Mr B, hopefully it goes well and I can show ye all a bit of America too eh :)
I sold my bike as part of a move to the US. The fees to import a bike not US homologated were too big. Ironically it was a Triumph America. Good luck to you. I came back to the UK, but don't regret the adventure. The crucial things are to get work and health insurance and the green card....
Yeah exactly. I looked in to it when I was thinking about it and it was way too much hassle so there's no point unless they're over 25 years old.
I might come back, depends on my wife I'd happily try stay 😂
Well I'm moving with work, so it's a visa and healthcare through them.
Excellent news, best of luck!
Thanks Jerry!
I'm so excited for y'all! I know this has been a long time coming. Now the chances of us meeting face to face increase. We gotta figure out how to do it. It's only a one country we have to worry about 🤣
Thanks Batdan :)
Oh they more than increase they become a certainty :) It'll happen!!! Just a bit of figuring but sure that's a small thing 😁😁
Congrats on the new job, sensible to get your life and a car sorted first but a whole new world of biking awaits out there! I'd be very tempted by a KLR650 as my workhorse bike out there considering they have much more freedom in off-road riding etc, I totally see the appeal of a cruiser too though!
It's actually the same job really just in a different location, but thanks :) Yeah sadly has to be done, otherwise I'd be out getting a million new bikes at a time :D I won't lie it's one that I'm firmly looking at for my daily. Affordable and a workhorse. Can't go wrong. A cruiser would just be good for 2 up until herself gets her license too :)
Fantastic news, when opportunities come along you have to grab them and see where it takes you. I am pretty sure most of your subs will still be here as real life always comes first and you have to sort it out before making vids. 👍 Looking forward to the first vids from the US whenever that is😀
Exactly, it'd be one of those things would live in your head forever as a "should I have" kind thing if you didn't do it I think. Ah hopefully, and hopefully it won't be too long a downtime between getting there and getting set up :)
I did not see that coming wow 😳 class delighted for yous both what an opportunity wel I wish yous good luck to the move and hope al works out and we will all be waiting for whenever the Gorilla is ready to return to the screen.
P.s. got my hopes up for a second there thought there was going to be an opportunity for maggie to be snaped up😉
Haha I'm glad I actually managed to keep it mostly under wraps!! Thanks Cathal! Ah look it'll be grand, worst case I'm back in a few years making a video titled "that was a bit shite" haha.
Haha yeah there was a few inquiries on the gsxr and maggie already when people saw the post on instagram :D
I wish you all the best of Luck in America. I moved to Germany 30 years ago and never came back. ireland was only appreciated at a later date! get used to riding in straight lines! Cheers Bro
Thank you :) Germany is another place I was firmly looking at, I've spent a lot of time there with work and it's a great place.
I love Ireland, I wouldn't ever even consider leaving if it was a bit easier to live here financially. It hasn't gotten any better in the last 10 years so I'm happy to make a switch. Haha there are plenty of nice roads in North Carolina thankfully :)
Ahh mate, this is awesome news.... am so chuffed for you. When you mentioned it being a possibility, I could tell it was something you really wanted to do. Selling a couple of bikes makes sense, but it is great to hear you'll still be able to keep the Gixer and Magna.
I fully get the coping mechanism and doing the Falco thing. No need to apologise mate... Just means I'll have to come visit the USA instead of Ireland! :D Nothing is impossible.
All the best with the move, am sure you'll find an awesome home to rent and keep your bikes tucked up in.
Hopefully you'll get settled quickly and will be able to get the YT thing going again, but real life has to be priority at times, so don't stress about not being able to get stuff out on it for however long it takes to get sorted.
Greenville looks like it will have some nice riding roads, and not too far from the coast, should be lovely mate! 👍
Thanks man :) Yeah it is and was definitely something I really want to do, really looking forward to it now :) I had honestly given up on it for a while! Yeah very happy I have the space to store them tbh. It'd have killed me to sell them!
Yeah, was mad disappointed at that stage after so much work only for it to come full circle again. Haha you absolutely will!! Just wait until I have two bikes :)
Gracias amigo, I really hope so, last year there was a load of affordable options, it's harder now but not impossible :)
Yeah I hope it'll be max a few weeks downtime! We'll see how it plays out, have to try load up on video production now :P
Yeah I visited it last year and it looks like a properly nice area, so fingers crossed :)
@@TheGorillaBiker It is gonna be mega mate, you'll make it all work out, and what an adventure! 🙂
A massive adventure 😁😁😁
They have bikes in the states, you can stay warm and dry much easier, and there are some really nice roads, you have to jump when a good opportunity comes along, I did 28 years ago and have never looked back. Best of luck to you both.
Haha that they do, and a lot more than here! Definitely the warm bit :) Especially in NC there are some savage roads. You do, i'd have been kicking myself forever if I hadn't. Fair play, love how many people have done the same and are telling me, definitely give me confidence :) Thank you :)
I grew up in Kinston, NC and its about 25 minutes away from Greenville. Been a while since ive spent anytime there but if you have any questions dont hesitate to reach out.
That's roughly where I'll be working! :) I suppose is there anywhere else that isn't Greenville you'd recommend to live? :) And any good bike dealerships! :D
@@TheGorillaBiker well there isn't very much that's close by..unless u want to commute from Raleigh. I'd say Greenville is your best bet. There's a pretty large university in Greenville so it's a better place than most other towns in eastern NC. It's the bmx capital of the USA..or it was at one point. Pros from all over flooded into Greenville and I think it may still be that way. There are a few bike shops around but I don't know anything about any of the ones there since it's been a while. Up here I'd say combustion cycles, Barnett's Suzuki Ducati, sport durst, team power sports, Garcia Moto bmw, ktm, indian, Ducati....and tons of other small independent shops
@@TheGorillaBiker also if u don't mind the small town vibe Kinston would be cheaper place to live. There has been some nice change there in the past 20 years. Good restaurants and some bars downtown. Some areas to hike by the river lots of back roads to ride that's for sure.
WOW nock me sideways good luck man you will do just great out there and your timing and both yer ages are perfect for this adventure as it surly will be 👌. Gotta say though it's gonna be strange, not ta be seeing your vids pop up regularly but if something pops up to watch I'll be ready to view it .I am not goin ta get there this year cos I have to much going on right now to work on my Magna so maybe I'll make the trip next year when you will have gone, which I won't lie will suck a bit but hey nothin stays the same change is inevitable ya have ta chase yer dreams .👍😊
Haha I'm glad I didn't give much away and it was a proper surprise for people :) Yeah it comes at the perfect time!! Ah they'll still be popping up regularly hopefully! It'll be worst case if I miss more than a few.
Ah yeah it's gutting tbh, there was an absolute bomb of ye I was hoping to meet and loads I wanted to visit in the UK as well but as you said, have to take the shot when you can :)
Best of luck with you & toasters new venture fella, gonna miss the CBF vid's (not done anywhere near as many miles as you have on mine) but it really is a great steed, once you replace the cheese exhaust brackets, and slap a pair of black widows on..
Thank you :) Ah I'll really miss the CBF myself, it just does everything and I had more plans for it but sure look!! Hey don't mind miles once you're enjoying it that's all that matter! Yeah the black widows are class and really changed the bike for me :)
Congratulations and best of luck! And a stern parental Don't Worry About The Channel - moving is a pain the arse in general, never mind to another country in particular, so please sort yourself out at your own pace. We'll be here when you return :)
Thank you :) Haha thank you again, I hope for my own sanity it won't be toooo long but realistically it'll be a bit before I'm all set up again :) I will return tho, whoever is left is good by me :)
Best wishes with the move lad, ya have to do what ya have to do.
Will miss the irish connection.
Stay 2 wheeler shinny side up out there.
Thanks Ray!!
Ah I'll miss Ireland but in a way I think more people need to move, voting with my feet in a way :)
I will try to! Sound :)
What a challenge in your life! How2 impressive immigration step! I have ventured myself the American Dream much younger in my 20s as a promising undergraduate student and part time worker. Hope you get adjusted quite easy up there and build upon your new contacts 😉 However, the mentality is quite different by far between such countries 😄 Merry Xmas lad 😀
Wasn't too bad tbh, I don't know will I ever be able to stay permanently but we'll see! Oh very good, you've moved around quite a bit eh! Ah it's grand here to be fair, no bike contacts yet sadly. Haha just a little bit yeah :D To you too.
Best wishes for the lifestyle changes, big fella. Go explore and be happy 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks amigo :) I plan on doing exactly that :)
What a fantastic response from all your viewers 👍 If you still had any slight doubts about the move, all this positivity must be very reassuring 😁 We’ll see you both on the other side 🇺🇸🤠
Yeah absolutely, blown away tbh! And only 2 dislikes on it out of 100s so that's a huge win! :) Haha it most certainly is, there'll always be that voice at the back of my mind but that's ok! I look forward to getting more vids out there for ye all :)
Well, as what I know, USA is a very diverse country and there are lots of people from anywhere, from northern Europe too... So it is not basically a bad place to live. Actually I have relatives there and my father was born in there. So good luck for the Journey!
Oh, you might want to watch (if you haven't already) a couple of videos from Maikeli7, he is from near Raleigh and rides GoldWing and Kawasaki H2...
Thanks! I've been there a good bit and really like it tbh, generally very friendly people so no harm giving it a shot :)
I haven't seen those videos but will definitely have a look! Thanks! Nicer bikes than I'll have 😂
Hope things are going well for you both in the States, it's great to live somewhere else for a while anyway but Ireland always pulled me back. Something about this place is in the blood,
there have been times I wish I never came back but that's life as they say. You have plenty of country under your feet now.
So far so good thanks :) Ah yeah and I get the draw of Ireland, I mean I based my channel on how great a spot it was for years :P But until some things change I won't be back. I'm not a whinger and believe more in voting with my feet, so I did!
That I do :)
It's almost 1am. I've watched some. I'm digesting it. It is awesome. I'm hearing the sadness in your voice about selling your beloved bikes. I'm feeling nervous and excited for you man. This is so cool. I wish I had the balls to do a move when I had those urges as a younger man. Now I have to visit USA when I make my million dollaridoos. I've never seen the East Coast so it will be awesome. I'll watch the rest on SUnday night when I get some free time. All busy from here until then. Big love my mountainous humanoid. Very exciting.
Ok so I’m watching now in bed. I see a kawasaki in your future. GTR1400 maybe?
Haha gracias amigo, you are allowed to sleep like :) I'm still kind of digesting it myself!! The bikes and animals are huge tbh, I love my animals and that'll be tough, bikes can always be replaced....just the finding of more nice ones is the hardish part sometimes :) Ah here you live in one of the places I hold up as a future possible forever home :) It all worked out for you anyway eh :)
You absolutely do! Or when I make mine and buy you tickets :) I shall make plenty of vids for you so :P
No rush amigo the video isn't going anywhere! Thanks buddy, you're a legend.
Hahaha maybe a ZZR1400 :P
Holy balls Gorilla-man!! Amazing shocking news! Congratulations. I hope all goes well for you both over there. The very very best of luck. Go n-éirí libh!
Haha it's been very hard to keep it quiet :P Thanks bud. Go raibh míle maith agat a chara!! :)
Best of luck with the move
Thanks bud :)
A massive change, but a great challenge. I'm sure that you can make it work. As you said, in general, the people are great and every country has it's issues. It's down to what you make of it all. I couldn't say just how many times I've been to the US, and so far, I've been to 26 states. Make sure you travel around as everywhere is different from the last. Greenville is a lovely area. I've been around there before. I've friends not too far away in Knoxville, TN. Loads of great roads there to ride, including the Tail of the Dragon. Well worth even driving it in a car. I'm sure you'll get yourself a bike over there in no time. Best of luck with it all.
Agreed :) Ah I'm honestly not worried, the job is effectively the same and I can only mess it up so much! just a pity I'm going when the world is in shit a little. Ah you've been over there a fair whack so!! :) I'll be travelling as much as work allows! I got good holiday days anyway so fairly happy with that! Yeah it was the spot that stood out to me when I visited, had an nice atmosphere to it. Yeah it's only about 3/4 hours away to asheville so I'll be doing plenty of weekend trips and we've had an eye on TN already too :) Lots of new places! Ah don't mind that car craic I'll save the nice roads for the bike :P
@@TheGorillaBiker the world is ALWAYS in shite. ;-) You have to live for today and make the most of it all. I lived in Arizona many many years ago, but decided to come home. And, as you said, every part of the US is so different from each other, so it's just a matter of finding what works for you.
Wow that's crazy, in a good way.
I remember you sayin (a couple years back now I guess) that you "might move out of Ireland to the US or some other country some day"...And now it's happening!, holy s**t!, Cool beans!.
Just some friendly advice from someone who has moved from California to Hawaii (2500 miles across a different "pond"), I say, if you can bare it, leave it or sell it. Take only what you absolutely need. There's everything you could ever want here (from cars and bikes, to furniture, to tools, yada yada) and TONS of it, at good prices, especially used.
I shipped a truck, motorcycle, bicycle and a huge drum set to Hawaii, and in retrospect, I think I should have sold all of it, took the money and replaced it on Maui.
Anyway, just my 02. Good luck my friend, and welcome to the USA!
Crazy good I'll take that :D :)
Yep, it's been something I've really wanted to do for a long long time so pretty crazy it's finally happening! Not everyone gets to have things work out for them.
Yeah tbh that's the general advice I've been given, it's not worth the hassle of trying to move stuff so I'm happy in a way to leave stuff behind and get other stuff. We'll see. At the end of the day they're just things.
Thanks bud :)
congrats on the news.
Thanks Gareth!!
Good luck buddy and hope all works out for ya, but before you go where the that under pass @ 1:45 😁
Thanks!! So far so good anyway and been here just over a month now :) It was down in Waterford near the Castle on the water....I can't remember exactly!! I'll try find it on google maps later :)
Good luck. The u.s.a has it's problems, but big deal, like you say, everywhere has, even up here in peaceful belfast lol. Enjoy your time, and i look forward to your biking video's to come from across the pond. ride safe, ádh mór
Thanks! Exactly, people love focussing on the negative, I'm more a positives kind of guy :) Same as there lad, you can find trouble if you go looking for it anywhere!
Thanks bud I will certainly try! I can't wait to make them :) Go raibh míle!! :)
Massive congratulations on getting the opportunity to fulfill one of your life goals. It’s going to be a whole new and exciting adventure for yourself and Toaster. But dang, you’ve made it harder for me to attend a meet up. Or was that the plan 😂
Thank you very much :) I hope so anyway 😁 Can't wait to get it going now and get my feet on the ground over there :)
Haha sorry 😂 And no definitely not intentional :)
@@TheGorillaBiker when you’re ready to roll with content again, your viewers will still be there. Really stoked for you. All the best for the future.
@@EpicMotorcycleAdventures I hope so anyway, I'll be aiming to not miss too many videos without pumping out crap! :)
Thanks again bud :)
Brilliant. I moved to Switzerland 🇨🇭 22yrs ago. Full of apprehension and doubts. Best thing I ever did. You can always go back home. Trust me. It’s going to be great mate!!!!!! Keep clogging please?
Oh class, beautiful country!! Yeah there will always be those niggling thoughts I think eh, glad it worked out for you. Exactly, Ireland isn't going anywhere :P
Oh I will definitely, I love making videos!! :)
I’m so excited!! Please let us know if you need anything!
I'm just about containing it :P Thankfully my mostly emotionless state hides it well :D I will do, thank you :)
Huge news fella. I have something similar but it’s Oxfordshire to Cornwall so not quite so dramatic! How do the prices of bikes compare over there? I guess the secondhand bikes and parts markets are bigger than ours? Everybody in America seems to have a (massive) garage, you’ll be fine.
It is indeed!! Hey a move is a move!! It's pretty much the same thing just over a bigger distance :)
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay cheaper than Ireland, but that wouldn't be hard either. And much bigger selection. There actually aren't as many as you'd think on rental properties so we'll see what I can get!
Lived in the US loved it. The secondhand market is unbelievable for bikes so ..... 👍 The housing market here in IRL is almost at the stage of making me and the lady up sticks too
Hopefully I do too! Yeah I've been looking at them and drooling for quite a while now :D
Ah it's honestly one of the huge reasons we said feck it let's give it a shot. No hope for us here any time soon and I can't abide paying rent for somewhere that's 3 times more than it should be.
Life takes some places and we just need to go, being stopped is a small death and progression is needed in order to do the "adulting".
Challenges are welcome and everything needs to be in order to be able to move on and enjoy life.
The ride will just continue and you'll get to ride new roads and try something completely different from what you thought could be possible to achieve.
As we've spoken, at least from my point of view, I've changed countries already two times and I ain't quite enjoying or living it up, will be changing again soon.
Hope all goes well and you and Toaster find great success with great luck and hapiness!
Just sad the MVP does not get to go 😐!
Friedrich Nietzsche said: "Never yield to remorse, but at once tell yourself: remorse would simply mean adding to the first act of stupidity a second.”
So move on and grab life hard, enjoy the ride!! 😀
Agreed man, sometimes you have to do things even if you're super comfortable precisely BECAUSE you're super comfortable.
Without a challenge I think everyone's brains kind of go in to a limp home mode and that when some people can get very sad/angry. They kind of give you a goal, I know my brain the the type that always needs to be driving towards something.
I am actually super excited to see all the new roads, cultures, scenery etc. I love Ireland, it's a brilliant and beautiful place. But it is fairly small :)
Indeed, and don't underestimate how much you've helped as well man, sometimes all someone needs is the "yeah why not" to tip them towards doing the thing.
Thanks you kindly amigo, and the same to you with your upcoming move!
Ah we won't even get in to that. That stuff might break my soul slightly. The best companions are pets.
Thanks bud, great words :) You're a wise head eh :)
Good luck in your new adventure. I emigrated to Australia years ago but that didn't work out. A word of advice. Keep your house and rent it out. You've always got somewhere to come back to if it doesn't work out.
Thanks! Sorry to hear that, if this doesn't work out I'll give oz a shot myself. Cant see a decent life here any time soon..haha I would if I owned one, that's a large part of why I want to leave 😂 Houses cost way too much here
@@TheGorillaBiker And they will not be getting any cheaper any time soon .......unless we have a crash! Could happen, the way things are going.
@@markpenney8176 I'm hoping I won't be here either way. Earn more than I ever thought I would and still haven't a hope, massive driver behind me going.
@@TheGorillaBiker Great for you and thanks for the tips on the CBF. Just got a silver 2006 ABS with 40k on the clock. I've done the oil and filter, air filter and coolant plus thermostat while had the tank up. Bought iridium plugs to change but took one out, thought, that's OK because the others are a pig to access so will do again 😆.
None of the videos discuss siezed bolts on fairings though. What a nightmare. 5 hours just to get the lowers off 😢. Still got siezed inside bolts either side of the top fairing too. Will havto tackle these at some point. Do l need to take this off to change a bulb 😆.
Anyway I've prattled on long enough. Thanks again for all your advice and good luck for the future 👍.
No hassle, best of luck with the bike :) nice jobs to have done already! Haha get those sparks done :P
I've never had an issue with seized bolts on the bike so couldn't have discussed them, never even heard of anyone else having that issue tbh! Must have seen plenty of salt! I'm not sure, haven't needed to change a bulb yet!
No hassle at all bud! Thanks :)
Greenville NC is a nice little city.
Hopefully you'll agree if that's where you end up! 👍
I visited it when I was there last year, I thought it was nice! Hopefully I'll like it, so far don't see anywhere else I'd like more.
Fair play to you lad 👏. Take a few pictures of corners, before you go, just to remind you 😏😏
Gracias bud! Haha thankfully NC has lots of nice roads :P I dunno would I have agreed to go if they didn't.
Well done buddy congratulations and best of luck with the new beginning. Will you have an American accent for your videos over there lol
Thanks bud :) Haha I already have a few they just shown themselves when they want to :D
@@TheGorillaBiker but when you go over will it be Harley or Indian ????
@@paulieboscobyrne7548 haha probably neither. They'll still be in the upper price range 😂

I can't wait to make them :) Ah look Mondello is always manic, I might be up once more before I go.
Heading down on the 31st. For the day hope to see you 👍👍👍
North Carolina is beautiful as is South Carolina.....move as close to the ocean as possible...will make u feel close to home always near the ocean.
Well where I'm living is kinda defined by where I'll be working, still it's only like 40 mins away from the ocean which is about what I am here too, so should be fairly bang on the same :)
