I live in a mobile home park. Don't have a garage. I have a 10' x 8' shed. How would you store 4) 8' umbrellas and bases in the shed?
Many of these things are are very cool but check with a local build contractor before hanging heavy objects from your ceiling joists. Many garages in the north are designed with snow load in mind and if you overload the joists your risking roof damage/collapse during the winter. Thanks for the good video!
If they are heavy enough to effect the snow load capacity of your roof you're probably not going to be lifting it up to your ceiling anyway.
Interesting
Sooo, at 0:21, how the heck do you get the inner box out? And how do your garage door slide through the boxes?
Custom idea for non seating kitchen island only drawers and cabinets both sides
Those are all great ideas,
BUT, most every one of them requires some open wall space.
Most garages & workshops are way short of any open wall space.
These ideas would be great to implement as you are setting up a
new garage & workshop. But, I'm afraid it is too late for me.
!
Some of these can be useful but some would make it more difficult to grab or put back things which kinda defeats the purpose
The duct tape over open caulk tubes doesn’t work. They dry out within days. All the other ideas are great!
how about a nail in the tube spout
The plug of dry caulk in the tip comes right out with a push of the caulk gun and the caulk inside is still good.
@@johncohle8331 I tried a nail. The material somehow pushed nail upward, and still drying out.

how do you make the timber rails
I would fasten 1/2" plywood to dimensional lumber of your choosing using carriage bolts.
