At 3:05 The Helmet seems like the HMD of J 20 and looks very much similar to the Israeli DASH used by our Air Force too, There are very good chances that this HMD is based on DASH as they have received some DASH Helmets from Israel, a long time back.

The biggest difference between China and Taiwan is not territorial issues, but political differences. It is similar to East Germany and West Germany. East Germany is socialism and West Germany is capitalist society. , I think everyone has a price code, as long as he meets his price code, it can definitely be unified, tens of billions of dollars is not enough, China can give hundreds of billions of dollars.

The worst thing about our military planners are they start to dig the well when they are thirsty. This short sightedness have costed us decades of lagging behind in terms of technological advantage. When Sukhoi 30MKI arrived in the Indian inventory we had an edge in technology and then babus went to sleep thinking Chinese will remain the same. They seriously underestimated the CCP and now we are running like a headless chicken to cover up the gap.

In my opinion as all specs of j20 are not available in public domain
So you can not compare j20 with Rafael because
    Comparing these 2 is similar
If you compare USA F35 with Rafael
Rafael is a very good 4.5 generation fighter can be compared to Chinese j11 or max j16 but in my opinion j20 or even Chinese Su35 are superior to Rafael and finally in a fight who will win depends on many factors and the most important is pilot skills also not just the aircraft
The future of aircombat is bvr engagement and the fighter which sees first will hit you first because now more then 200km range bvr missiles are available and su 35 with its irbis radar can detect su30 which is 5ms RCS from almost 400km
And for 1.5ms Rcs hopefully from 175 to 200km and fully loaded Rafael RCS is approx 1.5MS what do you say about my opinion

Luneburg reflector is used to hide RCS when aircraft is being showed at an air show or being transported where hidden radar systems on ground can observe the aircraft undetected. They don't actually perform and give away any combat maneuvers at these occasions. During maneuvers during combat training it would be insane to put the reflector on for following reasons.
    1. It can allow a hostile radar system to lock on and track the aircraft for the duration of the maneuver very easily. This can give very valuable information on technical abilities like climb rate, g-turns but also psychological doctrine and strategies. That is why these maneuvers are done far away from populated areas like New Mexico or Siberia or the Tibetan desert. It would be insane to negate that remote advantage by putting markers on the planes.
    2. Any measurement involves subtracting the noise from the signal. During maneuvers, such as when the aircraft is moving away from you and starts climbing , you would get a signal that composes of initially both the aircraft and the Luneburg reflector and than the aircraft alone as the reflector mounted on the belly gets hidden behind the aircraft. Fourier analysis could easily identify the noise from signal and establish the signature of the aircraft.
    3. Our Airforce officers said that they could see J-20, not just any aircraft. Give them a little credit. If they were seeing just the Lubeburg reflector, they would see a bogey but nothing more. The reflector does not enlarge the signature of aircraft, it just adds a much larger signature of a different kind so the the signal is drowned in noise. If the air force officers are saying that they see the J-20 that means they are seeing the J-20 signature, whether with or without the Luneburg signature.

Why not to purchase few squadrons of Su-57 with Indian enhancements. Also you talked about privatisation, can’t you see how OFBs are threatening for strike. They know after privatisation if they won’t work properly they will be out of business. But these parties politics always make governments to bow in front of them.

J20 will always remain inferior to Western 5th Generation aircrafts, it can maximum reach the capability of a 4.5 or 4.75 generation aircraft, stealth is one part of any 5th generation aircraft, there are more aspects to a 5th generation aircraft like electronics used and miniaturization of the same, also the engine plays a major role. In short China is no where in comparison to Western nations in terms of aviation technology but yes India is also not doing much, so we also need to pull up our socks and start partnering with Western nations and private players to develop our local aviation sector.

A U.S. aircraft carrier had detected an enemy jet or aircraft and F/A 18 superhornet jets were scrambled to detect it but they were surprised to see that there was no heat being released from the engines of the aircraft and it was travelling at a speed of Mach 4-5.
