Please visit www.horizonhobby.com/SearchDi... for more information on the HobbyZone® AeroScout™ S RTF & BNF Basic Airplane.
The HobbyZone AeroScout S makes learning to fly an RC (Radio Controlled) airplane easier and more fun than ever before! It’s extremely durable and features exclusive SAFE technology that helps to prevent crashes so nearly everyone can learn to fly successfully.
The AeroScout's construction with advanced EPO material delivers a lightweight yet durable airframe that's tough enough to handle everyday flying punishment without getting bent out of shape. And in the unfortunate event you damage any airframe parts or components and can't repair them, a full line of replacement parts is readily available.
This video covers repairing the wing of an AeroScout S, and many of the same instructions and tips also apply when repairing other EPO foam aircraft and parts.

You can use boiling water or a countertop steamer to bring it back to its original shape. I use those cheap countertop steamers you find on infomercials they suck for cleaning but they're awesome for EPO and EPP bringing the shape back before you glue it.
Anyway nice of you guys to do instructional series for you guys getting into this Hobby always loved Horizon Hobby and their customer support.
    Cheers
    Rob

I hadn't thought about the steamer. Good point. I did use a hair dryer once. Worked well. Just be careful. You can over swell it too. Sorry to hear you had a crash, BUT thanks for making me feel a little better knowing that pros like you crash too! I figured out that RC really stands for 'Repair Constantly'!

@@capnpete1154 howdy Capn Pete! Pusher blow dryer will work. The thing about the steamer it doesn't make the foam popcorn it just brings it back to its shape slowly. Boiling water does the same thing but then the foam expands and you can see the little popcorns.
But heck I crash a lot that's how I learn but I also learn how to crash correctly. A lot of people freak out and shove the throttle stick all the way up and slam it to the ground lol. If I know I'm going to crash I usually drop the throttle or hit the throttle switch less damage. But racing multirotors and freestyle with quads really help me flight fixed-wing much better because I got so much better rudder control. But fixed wing has always been my number one. Anyway TGIF hope you have a great weekend 👊😁

@@FarmerFpv You are right. I didn't have a steamer at that time, but now I have a small hand steamer. Hopefully it will be a while before I need it again! Thanks for the tip, though.

@@capnpete1154 you're welcome and I hope you don't have to use it either. but if it happens you know you can make the plane look like new again.
Enjoy your weekend happy flying 🤘

@@FarmerFpv Thanks and happy flying back to ya. I try to remember this one thing that a Certified instructor always said: "Never stop flying the plane." He was talking about real planes, but it applies to RC as well. Wish me luck this weekend. There is a golf driving range up for sale close by. I intend to contact the owner and see if he'll let me fly there. Even if I have to pay a small fee, it would be worth it. Beautiful site with vast open area. Might even be able to do a little slope soaring. If I could afford to buy it, I'd consider starting a club up locally. We'll see.

I had just crashed my aeroscout today. Complete utter disaster. The plane was unrecognizable but with tape and new servos it’s flight ready

Foam-Tac works great on these planes.

Where can I buy a new servo on my Aeroscout 21.1m Plane?
I noticed the wing servo motor wire is much longer than the servo used for Servo for elevator or rudder.

Funny, this morning I crashed a mini free flight glider into a tree with similar damage in the same places!
